Came in today to get some ideas for my remodel and the entire staff ignored me as I made it through the entire store. The two by the front sitting on the couch didn't even look up from their phones to greet me. These two by the cash register also didn't acknowledge my existence. Who wants to spend money in a store with no customers and snobby staff? Not me.

If I could give a 0, I would. The customer service of West Elm is completely impersonal. This store is so disappointing. In a digital age, when you can find nearly anything you want online, you'd think they would desire to take better care of the people that actually go in there to make purchases. 53.5 weeks ago I made my first ever purchase at West Elm. I was super pumped about the marble & wood cutting board I bought. Until last week when the handle broke off. No problem, I thought. I'll just take it back and see how they can help. "We're sorry, it's been over a year. It's outside of our policy to help you...unfortunately" with a fake smug face, they said. Really? You mean if the handle broke 1 week earlier (at 52 weeks) you'd happily replace it. But for me....53 weeks is just too long. Whatever West Elm.

The response changes like the reps name.

Purchased a table online from West elm. It was damaged. They told me they would provide a replacement. After the time expired to return the table they quietly canceled my replacement order without telling me. Stay away from this place. If you get a delivery look the furniture over very well. Don't let anyone rush you. The best thing would be to take your time and if you find anything; make them remove it and take it back with them.

I got a coffee table here yesterday. It was normally about $700 and I got it 30% off. It was easy to put together and I like it. Everyone in the store was great and helpful. However, it was disappointing to find that West Elm put two stickers on the coffee table that left white sticky residue when removed. One of them was at lease 4x4 inches and was on the inside of a storage area, a place I'll see when I open the pop up top. There were also instructional stickers for assembly, these came off easily and did not bother me at all. If they come off easily without leaving residue, I have no problem with it. I was hesitant to use certain chemicals to get the residue off because the instructions with the table warned against using harsh chemicals. Since this cost me hundreds of dollars, I want to take care of it. It is disappointing that West Elm did not use a higher quality sticker or design a better process for delivering the information on the stickers, knowing that they would value the table at $700. I'd be more convinced that it's worth the money if the manufacture treated it like it was. I wouldn't let my child put stickers on someone else's furniture (or my own), so it's not ideal for the manufacturer to do it. I know I'm not buying the highest quality furniture out there, but this seems like low hanging fruit for West Elm to communicate that this table is worth the price. I also ordered three other pieces of furniture when I made this purchase, all more expensive than this one, so I'm hoping I don't have the same issue when they're delivered. Like I said, everyone in this OKC store is great and I have no problems with the store. If I could have left this review on westelm.com I would have but they don't seem to allow reviews.

You guys know I don't spend a lot of time or money at chain stores, but West Elm in Classen Curve may be the exception that proves the rule. I went for the first time earlier this week and I'm sold. The furnishings are all fantastic, and so are the linens and accessories. We ended up buying a bar cart, as well as several different decor items. Everyone who helped us on the staff was lovely, and we really enjoyed the experience of shopping there. We'll also give them a pass for being a chain, since they do feature items by local artists like Erin Cooper, Love Well Handmade, Christine Crowe and Pencil Shavings Studio. I imagine I'll be in here to buy last minute hostess gifts on my way to parties, and to treat myself to nice, new home things from time to time.

Do not pay for the $300 shipping. They don't arrive when promised or call you when they are running late. Worst shipping experience ever.

I love that this is never the same store twice, because Mike is out searching for pieces almost as many hours per week as the store is open. Specializing in mid-century furniture and kitchenware, you'll also find lots of cool ashtrays, paintings, lamps, and home decor items. He also finds a lot of classic stereo cabinet, which can still be used. We ended up purchasing two side tables. They were in great shape, and have a lot more character than anything we would have found down on furniture row. We also got a cool old pull-down, schoolhouse-style map of South America. Since Mr K lived in Paraguay and I lived in Brasil, I think that's a cool addition to the study. I'm a fan. I'm sure this is the first of many things I'll be purchasing from Mike over the years. He posts photos to their facebook page as he makes new finds, and he will also offer to stay on the lookout for something he knows you're looking for. I can't wait to see what he finds next! Note: If you're there during business hours and the shop is not open for some reason, please call the number on the sign. He may be at an estate sale or at a private in-home appointment, but if you're there and he's not, just give him a call and he'll be back. He really does work hard to be there during regular hours. If he's not, it's a fluke.

I had been looking for cow Hyde rugs & driving by one day, noticed some outside on display. Looking back, my hubby recalls that day clearly as the beginning of the most expensive remodel of our lives that is still ongoing. For many years my husband & I have owned a old farm house by the lake in southern Oklahoma. In the beginning we mostly used it as a vacation home. However, last couple years we have been spending more & more time there remodeling, enjoying the farm, the lake & countryside. Santa Fe's showroom changed our lives. The showroom floor will blow you away when you first walk in. It's beautifully done. It's not only a rustic furniture store, they also do interior design & it clearly shows they know what they are doing. Everything looks gorgeous. First time I walked in, I wanted to purchase everything. Seriously. I wanted EVERYTHING!!! Little over two years now, hubby will tell you I'm still on my mission to do just that! ;) The first thing I purchased was a giant cow Hyde, beautiful rustic buffet & a armoire. Then, I decided we needed to go full rustic Farmhouse with the interior. Rustic blue pine ship lap walls, real barn doors etc., Bc the furniture goes exceptionally well with that style of architecture. My father is an Architect & has helped with the structural changes. It's been a real overhaul. We gutted the whole house. One trip to Santa Fe Company, that's all it took & my whole house has been transformed. I have now purchased all our rustic beds, end tables, kitchen island, chairs etc. The pieces I have are well crafted durable rustic furniture that wears exceptionally well. The more you use it the better it looks. I haven't had any problems with any of my pieces. Most recently I stopped by to see what was new & fell completely in LOVE with a wood bench. A redesign of an old wood bench that graced the halls of a old school convent. It goes perfectly by the front door as you come in to hang your coat & take off your shoes. My favorite piece yet. Santa Fe Company has definitely captured my imagination. As long as I can dream, I have no doubt I will keep dreaming & adding more & more to the project. Hubby said looking around the showroom last visit seeing all the new pieces that we could possibly squeeze in here or fit over there, he doesn't know if we will ever be done. That's ok I said, I can Dream on. Highly recommend.
