They gave us a tour of their changes and I love how modern the locker rooms, lunchroom and labs have become. SFP is such a big school with small town feel and I really began miss my days there. Founded in 1858, St Francis Prep was located in Brooklyn until 1974 but has been in Queens for the last 49 years. The facilities have been expanded and renovated over the last decade.

As a student in the middle school I want to say that the high school side is more biased than the…read moremiddle school side. the high schoolers get different lunches every day but the middle schoolers only get tacos and pizza. The girls also have better bathrooms than the boys do. The girls get mirrors but the boys get no mirrors and the soap is outside of the bathroom which is very disfunctional. The boys locker room is very wild and I always have to worry about getting my stuff stolen or getting into an altercation. The weight room is not bad but not good. the dumbbell handles are dirty and covered in dead skin. Some of the barbells are brown and rusty. The weight room is also very tiny. I would be walking past a guy doing squats and be hit in the elbow with their barbell. The area outside of the weight room is used for other workouts because of how tiny the space is.

It's really not about school to be honest with you I love the fact of the school has a agriculture…read moreprogram and just know there's an actual farm in the back of the school amazes me during the season they sell eggs vegetables fruits and things of that nature to the staff & kids Sometimes I wish we have these type of programs back then and my high school days where we could be more hands-on something along the lines of vocational but it's actually in high school giving these opportunities of these kids whoever had this idea splendid job
