My transmission died on I-10. Stranded outside of Luling. I had to tow it all the way to Houston for warranty service. I called 9 towers. Duane was the best price. By a lot. Better yet? He picked up my car less than 2 hours later, and towed it all the way to the transmission shop in Houston, right to their door. Then? He dropped me off at my house. Excellent service. Also... his truck was clean. No wrappers, dirt, funky smells etc. Plus- Duane is a really good guy. So... feel free to call around, if you want. Towing my car home. After waiting on AAA for an hour and a half. Duane called me and said that he would be there in thirty monutes. He was good to his word. My car was having issues in Gonzales on Sunday and the driver was so nice and pleasant and helped me get a mobile mechanic out to Walmart to look at It. To which I will the Walmart tire ppl were not very helpful. He came out and checked it out and couldn't find anything wrong with so he left and I drove it home to Kerrville. Shout out to Duane Tieken!! My fiancé and I got into a wreck halfway between Houston and San Antonio on our wedding day. Thankfully, west towing was able to come to the rescue and get my car. Originally, they said they would deliver it to the repair shop the next day, which was fine with me. But Duane is such an awesome employee that he got it done that same night! And we are not talking about taking my car to a shop in San Antonio. Duane is such an awesome and committed employee that he actually drove my car to Richardson the same day. My son's car broke down on the side of the road. He was stranded in an area that was not populated. He was 1 1/2 hours away from me and I had no way of reaching him. I called WMT and Dwayne promptly answered. He communicated with both me and my son and found his location. He loaded up my son's car and took it to Houston with my son riding in the cab of the truck. My son said he was such a nice guy and I felt so relieved that he was taken very good care of. Dwayne's tow truck was also what I would call "state of the art" as I saw it pull up in front my house. Deeply grateful for Duane at West Motors Towing and all he did for me last week. I was driving from my dad's in Columbus, Texas to California and got in a horrible car accident in the pouring rain; an accident that could have been fatal. Luckily I was safe...but my car was stuck in 4+ inches of mud on the side of I-10 and there was no way I could get out. Duane's calm professional manner and gentle personal manner was such a welcome kindness - especially after the shake up of this particular car accident. It was pouring rain when Duane towed me out of the mud and not only was he so professional and proficient in the tow, he also towed me to a safe place and actually helped me put my bumper back into place so that I was (somehow?!) able to continue my two day / 26 hour drive that same day! I got a flat tire this evening while traveling through Gonzales TX. It was late and no one in the area had a tire that would fit my car nor a spare I could use to get home. I went through my car insurance to schedule a tow. They were able to get me set up with West Towing to get the car to the dealership all the way in Austin. Duane arrived to tow the car and after learning my coworker and I were going to be unable to get a taxi/Uber to her car in Luling he offered to give us a ride as it was on the way to where he would drop of the car. He kindly took us 25 minutes to where her car was located then proceeded to drop my car at the dealership. It was late and dealership was closed so he sent me a text with a photo of my car there so I would know it made it there safe. I can't recommend Duane and West Towing enough, he went above and beyond, was kind and arrived within 15 minutes of me getting off the phone with my insurance company. Fantastic service! read more
