The museum is located near the entrance to the Scottsbluff National Monument national park. They have a display of Japanese that were early pioneers to the area. Very shortly a building built by Japanese pioneers called the Japanese Hall will be moved to the museum! One of my favorite displays was a collection of quilts. There was a newspaper quilt with old newspapers as filler for added warmth and a gorgeous cherry blossom quilt. Set aside at least a couple hours to see everything!

The shop was a great find, a neat little shop in a classic building that had tons of charm. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner (we assume) and her dog (my wife wanted to hijack her dog) they were both super friendly, and we enjoyed our experience. The shirts are amazingly soft and great colors and designs. They also had candles/jewelry and other items for sale. We ended up buying some shirts at the shop and are looking to order some online as they are set up for online ordering and shipping. Nebraska surprised us with how picturesque it was, and how friendly the people are, and the Nebraska pride is evident in this shop. We highly recommend this shop; if you are in the area, you should stop in and visit and support a local business.

They also work very hard to draw in a very good range of performers throughout the year that thus little town would not see without them. In addition most weekends the also show a recent movie at the unbeatable price of $5. For middle of the week entertainment the also run the community cinema series which is free to the public. The theatre itself is quite old, but lovingly restored and kept up. Singlehandedly the best theatre around for quite a data providing amazing entertainment at such a fair price its within the budget of the the community. Kudos to the Midwest!
