I got my car stuck in deep snow 3 times within 100 feet from one another, I finally got unstuck and had ice built up that my tires were rubbing on while I was driving, the roads were pure ice so I found the safest place to pull over and get the jce from my tires off, the man cleaning the parking lot of snow pulled up to me, I thought he was gonna ask if everything was ok or something but he said "im glad you got a nice clean parking lot to clean your car off in" he was very rude and condescending to me the whole time before driving off, it was very unnecessary and unprofessional, im tired of aged people thinking they can just treat everyone like garbage without any repurcussions read more

Love the indoor pool and now the new outdoor pool and water slide have just opened. Excellent fun for all ages. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Dickinson. Staff are also friendly and helpful and in abundance. read more

Fantastic gym with more equipment then any in ND...the 2 pools are wonderful and the staff is excellent.

Very, very nice facility. Large weight training area, indoor tennis courts, racketball courts, indoor basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor track, rock climbing wall. Only bad thing about it is kids sometimes acting really bad. I have gone to the West River Community Center since 2011. The facility is extremely nice. However, I have had some very bad experiences with the kids there, and so have three men and one woman that I know. One friend, Mike, had his gym bag with clothes and personal belongings stolen from a locker in 2013, it would have been worse if his car keys and wallet had been in his gym bag. Another friend, Bob, was using the locker room and the kids were behaving so badly that he had to yell at them severely, and threaten to contact all of their parents. Another friend of mine, Cam, exploded at a kid who kept asking him every few minutes how much longer he was going to be on the computer. I probably very nearly had the police called on me after I blew up at a kid who kept bothering me when I was in a bathroom stall, I had told him where the other bathrooms were, but like my friend Cam who was on the computer, the kid just kept coming back. Now that I think about it, my friend Duane also had a problem with the kids in the locker room behaving very badly, to where he decided to wait until they went away before he could take a shower. I have belonged to a newer athletic club in Idaho, and they had a locker room for adults only, this division of locker rooms was beneficial for several reasons: the men gym members did not have act as police to stop the bad behavior of kids in the locker room, the kids did not have to feel uncomfortable about changing clothes around adults they did not know, and the kids were not at risk of being around possible predators. It is too bad that the West River Community Center does not have this policy, there will probably have to be a bad incident before they realize the need to separate the kids from the adults in the locker rooms. read more
