West Texas Back clinic has excellent Chiropractor's and staff. I like West Texas Back

I initially chose WTBC because they were listed as an approved provider under my insurance. I did a lot of research and found that they have 100's of 4 & 5 star reviews so I was one happy person. I have to be honest...Dr. Scott Wofford is amazing as is his staff! He is down to earth yet incredibly knowledgeable and experienced at all he does. He is also an educator to not only me as a patient but to his staff. You can tell they REALLY like working for him and his 2 other DCs. I went there for the first time yesterday (9/2/2025) with several issues (knee, ankle, and both shoulders) and we discussed them all. He worked up a treatment plan and I walked out feeling so much better as he said I would. I'm a realist and know (Scott Wofford also stated) that my pains will take a couple more treatments and I'm so fine with that. I couldn't quit talking about how good I felt once I got with my husband. I can't wait to go back again next week and see how much better I am able to move. He is truly a blessing! read more

Due to the effects of my disability medications I was berated and refused treatment by this organization.

I just moved to Abilene and went to another chiropractor and kept leaving hurting. So I went to West Texas Back Clinic and was walked out after the first visit - Pain free. Now I have been adjusted a couple more time and I am great! Dr. Wofford listened attentively and was great with the diagnosis. Let me tell you Dr. Scott Wofford! In regards to myself, I'm a healthcare provider so automatically I have a natural tendency to put other people as a priority before myself. I walked into the West Texas Back Clinic almost 3 months ago unsure of what happened. (Limping, hip and lower back in excruciating pain, and shooting pain radiating down my legs) I could not sleep the night before due to the pain and had to roll out of bed The next morning. Literally. After the X-rays, first adjustment, stretching and electrode therapy, limp was gone! I felt so much better! Dr. Wofford thoroughly explained step by step of what was going on, what could have caused the issue and how he will fix it! Fast forward to now. I'm back to normal. Dr. Wofford is the truth! I feel completely comfortable around him. His bedside manner is awesome. He's extremely honest and a real stand up guy. He's just an all around wonderful person and fantastic Doctor! Man of God, family oriented, career oriented, intelligent and ambitious! From one healthcare to provider to another, it is obvious to me that he's passionate about his work and he loves positivity impacting patient's lives. Because we are in the middle of a COVID-19 pandemic, I feared that I would not get the treatment that I needed due to business shutting down. I also lost my grandfather to the virus and still in the grieving process. I stated the above to say that Dr. Wofford is also empathetic. He always cares: about you, your family, and your well-being. For that, I am truly grateful. He was God sent and I could not have picked a better chiropractor for myself. In addition, Nicole and Raven in the front office are wonderful too!
