All these concerns and more. I'm a detail oriented guy that can find fault with just about everything, I know, not healthy. BUT, let me tell you while giving major praise and satisfaction thanks to Todd, the owner of Windows, Doors & More. His crew showed up 30 minutes prior to start time every day! I say "crew" BUT, these guys were true Craftsman and I mean Craftsman. The Team, Steve, Jacob, Ian, and Bill worked together like a fine tuned machine. A look and a nod in the place of words. WOW. Their personalities made it actually nice to have them around and working on my home. If you have a question, they stop what their doing, follow you, and listen intently with a true response. They even took extra care to help me and be certain my wood blinds would fit the new windows. Extra trim required, Not a problem. I look at these windows and completed installation with pleasing amazement. I'm not kidding, everything looks and operates beautifully. For a guy that's hard to please, I couldn't be happier. Also, their pricing is more than competitive and their products are top rated when you do the investigation. I addition, the painted commented that the woodwork was done and nailed the way it's supposed to be done unlike other work he has seen. Hats off to Todd and his team. I kept getting told that they were waiting for parts but everything was ready. From quote to finish was almost six months for five windows. My complaint was the lack of respect Todd gave me. He refused to give me an invoice or even stop by to see if I enjoyed my experience. I know this outfit has a great reputation but for me I'll go with a company that is courteous and professional when I do the rest of my windows.

During installation I found that the screens had holes in two of them and there was a large deep scratch on one of the windows When I called they sent someone out immediately to correct the issue. I get a lifetime transferable warranty and now that it's winter, I can tell they are much less drafty. I'm very happy that I can open my windows now and windex both outside and inside. I am very sensitive to smoke and the chemicals in scented laundry exhaust, and was being exposed to multiple sources of those fumes coming into a cupola window at the top of a high cathedral roof on an Addition to my house. The window had been stuck open since I moved in over a year ago. I couldn't get any window company to come to assess or fix it, but a general contractor and electrician both tried (one from the outside and one from the inside). Neither of them could get the window to close because of a small non-functional motor (intended to open and close the window) that was preventing it from closing fully. Air, like water, will find a way to get into even a small entry point, so the smoke was coming in, dropping down into the main living area and sickening me. Jack responded to my call later the same day and, recognizing the urgency of addressing the situation ASAP, offered to come to my house within 30 minutes. He was scheduled out for two weeks, so not hungry for work, but squeezed in this health-related job near close of business. It took 3 attempts (one from inside and 2 from outside, on the steep roof) but within 45 minutes he had solved the problem by yanking the window open, removing the motor and sealing the window shut. Hallelujah! Jack has a great personality and was extraordinarily considerate of my special health needs, including the necessity that he wear a Tyvec suit and face mask when he was inside my home. I got no pushback about that at all--just an understanding, cooperative and frankly caring attitude. What a welcome change from some contractors I've dealt with while serving as the general contractor for work on my homes in the past 7 yrs. He's definitely a keeper! I cannot recommend this company more highly! Jack will be my first call to deal with any further issues with windows or doors at my house.

And when they do it's usually the wrong part or the person doesn't know how to fix it. They change the plans and expect you to catch everything they changed or it's just too bad. If you value your money or your sanity stay away from Nationwide and be very careful about your dealer.
