The Hellfire comedy club held at the Town Hall is especially good. At only £9 for 3 comedians it is excellent value and the food and drink on sale is also very reasonable. The ticket prices are generally very good and whilst the booking fees are relatively low you can avoid them by going to the box office and buying your tickets there. They are open 6 days a week until 8pm so it's quite easy to find a convenient time to drop in.

It accomodates all major athletics events and a memberhsip for a year is very cheap. Many of the coaches are voluntary and so are willing to help as much as they can. The thletics centre is open to people of all ages. There is an event for everyone and if you cant decide on just one they do have multievent days a few days a week. The standard of teaching is very good and everyone seems friendly. It is the best place in berkshire to do athletics.
