After…read moreI had put my money in the machine I see a sign that the owners only want people doing laundry there using it. I felt bad but there was nothing I could do but not come back again. As I was leaving the woman running Busy Bubbles in a rude tone said, "Thanks for doing laundry here." I told her, "Sorry I just saw the sign." She then told me I should learn to read. This would be a rude and unprofessional thing to say to anyone but I'm dyslexic and worked hard as a child to overcome it. I left without saying another word because that woman is not worth it and anything I could say wouldn't make a difference to her. I would never recommend anyone to go to this unprofessional and inconciderate place.

No, the husband was not in the suit at the time. I was reorganizing and hung the suit on a doorknob for five seconds (seriously, FIVE seconds)! The folks at VC told me the suit would have to be laundered first because dry cleaning would set the odor in. They told me it might shrink, but they'd do it in cold. I had no choice but to let them do their best. And their best was perfect! Husband is none the wiser. The second challenge was my oldest son's weighted blanket. It's WHITE and came with a duvet cover. My apartment-dwelling genius offspring spilled food on it, removed the duvet, and never replaced it. A YEAR later, he calls to ask how to wash the blanket. The details are grim, so I'll just share that this poor weighted blanket was so filthy I didn't think it could be white again. Victoria cleaners did it, though! Looks like new. I don't know how, but they did it. They are miracle workers, in my opinion.

What should have been a simple process of cleaning and preserving my wedding dress and veil turned into six months of repeated mistakes, delays, and unnecessary stress. Background: Executive Cleaners is owned by Victoria Cleaners. There was no manager at Executive for me to work with, so I was repeatedly sent to this Victoria location. February 2026: I dropped off my wedding dress and veil to be cleaned and preserved after my wedding at Executive Cleaners. March 2026: I picked up the preserved dress for the first time, only to discover that the inventory sheet did not list a veil in the box. The manager at Victoria Cleaners went back and forth with me for an entire week about whether the veil was actually inside. I was eventually asked to bring the box back so they could break the seal and check. There was no veil. I was told the dress and veil would be sent back to be properly preserved. June/July 2026: I received a message that my dress was ready again. I went to pick it up at Executive and was told there was actually nothing there. Since I was moving at the end of July, I made it very clear that I needed my dress back before then. Near the end of July, I finally received another call saying my dress was ready. When I arrived, the inventory sheet still did not list my veil. Victoria Cleaners contacted the preservation facility, which insisted that no veil had ever been sent. I was then told to open the sealed box myself because the veil was probably inside and simply hadn't been documented on the inventory sheet. When I opened the box, there was no veil. And then I discovered something even worse: THE DRESS INSIDE THE BOX WAS NOT EVEN MY WEDDING DRESS. I had been given someone else's wedding dress. I would have never known this if I hadn't broken the seal and physically removed the dress from the box to see and feel it. At that point, the manager was unable to locate my dress and had to involve the owner of Victorias and Executive. Update as of August 2026: After all of this, the manager finally located my dress and mailed it back to me. I finally have my own wedding dress back! After six months, countless phone calls, multiple mistakes, delays, and an incredible amount of stress, I finally have my own wedding dress back. I also still have not received the reimbursement check for the preservation that I was promised back in March after the dress was incorrectly preserved the first time. My wedding dress is incredibly sentimental to me, and having to repeatedly worry about whether it was lost, improperly handled, or potentially given to someone else was an experience I would never wish on another bride. Save yourself the headache, stress, and hassle. I strongly recommend using another company for something this important.

They are always fast, friendly, and thorough with the service they provide. Beaver Ave Cleaners has done a great job on every single article of clothing I've brought in. My only complaint is how pricey it was to clean some of my jumpsuits (and just standard cleaning, no stains or anything crazy going on). Aside from that, they provide a great service. I will continue to get my dry cleaning done here, and I would definitely recommend this place if you live in the neighborhood.

Since then, I have not trusted a dry cleaner and didn't buy anything that required dry cleaning. Due to work requirements, I needed to get some nice clothes. And then, the time came...my suit jacket was getting a little smelly and I knew I had to find a dry cleaner. After checking on social media and getting suggestions from friends who had used this particular business, I landed here. I was greeted immediately upon walking inside, the young lady was very pleasant and answered my questions and assured me they look at tags before cleaning. I was able to track my order on my phone, and pickup was just as smooth and friendly as drop off - the next day. I will return here very soon, as another one of my suits will need freshened up in short order. The price is average for Des Moines, I paid $20 for a jacket and slacks. Service, quality, affordability. Give them a try, or a second chance!
