They also do large platters to take away for corporate functions or parties - although these are quite expensive. They do a variety of sandwiches which they make fresh in front of you, this is good as it allows you to see which produce does not look great! Be aware that during the week at lunchtime the place is overrun by kids from the local schools and queues have been out of the door on many occasions! The prices are average but watch out for the sub of the day deal and coupons in the paper. The staff are not the friendliest and can often get your order wrong. There is plenty of free parking in the area.

The counter service was quick and the subs were tasty, as usual! You can choose between salads and subs here, and they always have good meal deals on. You can eat for around £3 with a 6 inch sub and a drink, which seems like a pretty good deal to me. The toilets were not very nice in this establishment, with one toilet for all guests with just a heavy sliding door to open and close and a tap which was so stiff to turn on it was almost impossible.

The order was acknowledged by the restaurant at 5.30pm and around 6.50pm the Just Eat site was updated that the food was on its way. By 8pm still no delivery, went onto the Just Eat site to advise delivery was late, received a text a couple of minutes later to advise that it would be delivered at 8.15pm. At 9pm the food still hadn't been delivered and despite calling the restaurant over 30 times they didn't answer their phone or the line was busy. My friend Louise ended up driving us to the restaurant to be told that the food was on its way. I got given a bottle of wine to apologise and pushed towards the door to get us to leave. It's now around 9.30pm and we told them that we were not leaving as the restaurant closes at 10pm and there would be no way of getting our food then! We told them that we called them numerous times but no answer or lines busy and he gestured towards 6 telephones on the bar, Louise phoned the restaurant right in front of his face and none of the phones rang! An older gentleman then rang the delivery driver who said that he was on his way to mine after his next delivery. We arrived back to mine at 9.40pm and the driver was 10 minutes after us. 2 x poppadoms, salad and my vegetable chilli garlic dish were missing and the food was cold. Also when we were there a lad came in to find out where his order was - it was supposed to be delivered at 5pm! I will never use this restaurant again. The chicken momo (dumplings) and duck chhoila starters were flavorful and fresh. The momo were nice chicken and vegetable dumplings served with a mildly spiced curry sauce. The chhoila had mustard seed in it which, when drizzled with the accompanying lemon, was cut nicely and gave off great flavors. We also had the achari chicken, Everest mix special, and dansak chicken. Each came separately in lovely metal dishes with unique sauces and a heating tray underneath to keep them warm throughout the meal. The meal also came with some of the best naan we've had and some very good saffron pilau rice. We cleaned our plates and left very satisfied and happy after a night that began a little unpleasant from having the other dinner options not work out. The staff was very attentive and engaging without being overbearing or hovering. They seemed to have perfect management in telling them when to come to the table. The manager was very professional and exceptionally helpful. This is a fairly new restaurant, the manager said they've only been open four weeks. I first came here in a party of about 20 of us so we had all of the 1st floor to ourselves. We were right next to the bar also, this was handy because even though the hosts had provided wine with the meal if we wished to purchase extra drinks, we could easily do so and pay cash. It really worked quite well and I would recommend using Zara's if organising a party like this. The service was excellent and I'm sure that is the case regardless of the amount of people at the table. The food was faultless. Huge portions but you can take away what you don't eat in a doggie bag! I think its comparable in price to Tandoori haven, but this restaurant definitely edges ahead in terms of the decor and ambience of the restaurant.

This was probably the best lamb I have experienced. The chicken was flavorful, tender and juicy. The red curry sauce with root vegetables was so good and not too spicy. The naan is so good you can eat it by itself. The service was excellent and friendly. Excellent for date night or single service. I would highly recommend!

My sister and I turned up on a Saturday night, hoping to enjoy a nice meal together. The manager looked at us when we walked in but didn't acknowledge us. We didn't book, but the place didn't seem too busy - we eventually got seated. After sitting for about 5 minutes we were finally offered the menu - should have been a premonition of what was to come. The manager came to take our order but rushed us through the process saying, "OK, OK move on!" That was disgusting behaviour that I would have expected from an employee but from the manager of the business?! There was a bigger table next to us and he seemed to be catering to their needs more. My meal came and my chicken was RAW in the middle; obviously not wanted to get ill I informed the waitress who surprisingly said, "Would you like it more cooked?" I was surprised! The second time, it came back red so I told the manager. He had the audacity to say to me that I was lying and that it was my taste that was wrong: "We cook chicken every night, it is fresh!" I don't doubt that your chicken was fresh; it was the fact that you didn't cook it! He never apologised, didn't sympathise with us and even told me sister to "shush" when she was talking to him. We were extremely angry at how condescending, rude and arrogant the manager was - he is one of those people who would look down on others and, like what Edwin W said, brown nose a customer who seemed lucrative. I have been a manager of a bar before, and I know how to deal with customer complaints and how to provide good customer service and what this place lacks is everything to make it a great place (let alone an OK place). The lady's bathroom was also a mess and the corridors needed hovered. Sam's should have all their "awards" re-evaluated and stricken from their records until they find themselves under new management, or at least learn how to cook food properly!
