Three of our party had Butter Halibut on asparagus and it was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, spiced and presented. One of our party had fish and chips and it was also excellent. Our waitress took the time to talk with us about life in Dawson Creek (we were from out of town and she was a lifelong local).

Not what you'd expect for the money, but fine for what you expect for the place. Decor is well-large room with tables and TVs. Nothing wrong with that, but $33 for chicken dinner? The beef dip is only OK. It is a bit small, and bread a bit dry and the Au jus watery and overly salted, but hey, I've had worse - not for $18. But I've had worse at $12. It was hard to get over the shock of seeing the menu prices. These prices would be fine at a Fairmont Hotel, with the accompanying food quality, atmosphere, and service. At a Super 8 Hotel, they seem way out of line.
