I paid for one transfer of $510 to a friend's bank account in Nepal. It arrived in 8 minutes. About 12 hours later I paid for a second transfer to the same person, same bank for $100. I am very disappointed with the way that Western Union is taking so long to handle my case with fraudulent activity. I brought a $500.00 money order and a $75.00 money order. I had to be broken up because $500.00 is the highest. Mind you... This was for my rent. So, when I sent this off on August 31, 2023, this was for September's rent, and the rental office kept telling me that they had not received it. So every month it was late, they would add a late fee on there and making my bill even higher. I kept contacting Western Union about this matter. I even sent them a letter telling them what this was all about and how I'm being charged for late rent every month. Still to this day, I have not received my money back, and it is Oct 31,2025. I sent them the 15 dollars so they can do the research. They sent me an email showing that both money orders were altered and cashed. Then I had to submit an affidavit, with it be notarized and dated, which was another $20.00. Now, they are still saying that they have not received it yet. When I say I'm over it and I WANT MY DAMN MONEY BACK NOW! I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. They sent me an email today stating to via email to the forgery department. So, the original that I sent, I took a picture of both of the affidavits. Now I'm still waiting for them to respond, telling me that they are going to send me my money, because, clear as day, you can tell someone forged their writing on the front over my writing & the back of it with a telephone. To anyone in Norfolk, VA/ Chesapeake, VA/ Virginia Beach, VA, if you get Money orders, please don't take them to the Chesapeake, VA, Post office on Indian River Rd and drop them in the mailbox outside, because my money order was stolen, and my mother's was as well, but she used MoneyGram. I hate using western union cause they charge a ridiculous amount to send money but I needed to send a relative that has no checking account money which I've done before. I logged on and all this 3rd party coupon shit started coming up and charged me 39 dollars. Bank of America declined it as suspicious but I still had to get a new ATM. It's a horrible inconvenience and I got rent and bills due today. I'm so sick of scammers and will never use them again read more
