My issue is that my car now sounds like the love child of a lawnmower and dirt bike. I reported this to the gentleman and he insists that I caused the damage myself. He has refused to take any action to remedy the situation and hung up on me. Accidents happen, my car is a smart car and very small.. Not the kind of vehicle that folks deal with often, but to claim that I caused the damage by pulling off to the side of the road is next level insulting.

When the truck showed up, the driver blocked the road(which was necessary) but when people began turning onto the road and waiting, he began yelling at these people to go around through the ally, using all sorts of profanity(while my 7 & 9 year old kids were standing there)! Normally I wouldn't say anything, however, this man is extremely rude and unprofessional. I know I will never call him up for help, don't care how cheap the price is!! I'll gladly pay the extra for a company that shows professionalism!!

Very manipulative and sketchy. I was clear about the work that needed to be done on my car, when I went to pick it up-pressured me to pay without seeing or checking to see if the repairs were made. Head gasket blew on the way home. I was always polite and reasonable with them-but he blamed me for the car breaking and told me it was my fault he did not do the repairs we agreed on that he said he would do. So they took thousands of dollars from me and my family, in the end the car had to be totalled. And then acts like everyone else is to blame including his own workers. No wonder they are failing and needing to scam customers left and right. The ONLY thing keeping this business afloat is the free garunteed income from being a police impound lot. Shameful.

On May 29, 2026, a tire separated from our Jayco HT 30.5 CKTS 5th Wheel. Luckily, we were able to pull our damaged RV into an empty parking lot. We found J & K Welding and Repair who offered 24 hour service so we called them. Mr. Vankirk immediately said he would be there as soon as possible. When he arrived, he stated that this was a situation his company could handle. We outlined a plan. It was already around 8:00 PM, but Mr. Vankirk went to look for the missing tire. He returned an hour later with it. Mr. Vankirk spent the following day looking for and finding the needed parts. He kept us informed. Once the parts arrived, Mr. Vankirk immediately made the repairs and notified us of the job's completion. We picked up the RV the following day. That evening, Mr. Vankirk called to check if we had picked up the RV and how our return trip had gone. Throughout the event, Mr. Vankirk was positive and professional. The car went into 'limp' mode in St Clairsville, OH and I was able to drive to the GM dealer. Unfortunately the GM/Chevrolet dealer said they could not work on Kia's and suggested Jamie's Garage. I went to Jamies where he diagnosed it as cylinders 3 and 4 were mis firing but was booked solid and not able to make the repairs that day. Jamie drove me to the Enterprise rental Car where I discovered they had no rental cars. Jamie was able to take me back to the shop and got me in quickly. Within 2 hours of this ordeal, he got me back on the road with new parts and repairs. I am grateful he was there and that time and was nice enough to help try and get me into a rental. I was very happy with the overall service. While their price wasn't the cheapest, it wasn't the most expensive either. They really know what they are doing and they did great work.
