I had some trouble with my RV battery and desperately needed a generator. The guys at Westmart were great, even when I brought it back the next day because I couldn't get it to work (operator error...I flooded it). As far as hardware stores go, this store has about everything you might need while visiting Yellowstone. I came into this store specifically to get Coleman Propane cylinders. YOWZA, they are pricey here. $7.99 for singles, $12.99 for a 2 pak. You can also get Coleman Propane cylinders at the two grocery stores in town. Look for the two grocery stores, and find my reviews, and you will know where they are the cheapest. On the whole, The Do It Best chain is more expensive than, say, Lowes or Home Depot, no matter where you go. Store personnel were friendly. I needed to replace the shingles on my cabin on Hebgen Lake which is about 9 miles out of town and down a dirt road. I went in Westmart and Daniel helped me. He very acutely calculated what I needed to complete the job. He then ordered the shingles and held them until I was ready. When it came time to deliver the shingles he personally delivered them on time. He did a exceptional job at navigating the truck around trees to unload the shingles to the roof tops of both the cabin and garage. When I saw the size of the truck I was not sure it was even going to be possible. Daniel with his experience and skill was able to do it! This save me a lot of work and I very much appreciate it! This store reminds me of a good old fashioned hardware store that personally cares about their customers. read more

Great store, bigger than a hardware store but smaller than a home depot. They have lots of great stuff here and a an awesome staff that will help you with any project or thing you need to find.
