Westminster Abbey in Mission, British Columbia, Canada! We were visiting friends and family in Vancouver a little while back. One of my wife's friends wanted us to go here so off we went for a day trip. I was expecting this Westminster Abbey to be like the one in London. It was not, but the place was still lovely. Very peaceful. Great spot to pray and meditate. This monastery overlooks the Fraser Valley and Fraser River. Outside the church, there is a trail which leads to an overlook. Great views from here. There is an even a bench to sit and take it all in. If you want to get away from the craziness that life sometimes brings, then go to Westminster Abbey in Mission, BC. Simply serene! read more
