We have three children under the age of 2.5 and would often have them with us while on showings. She equipped us with knowledge on each home we toured and, again, guided us toward what was best for our family and our situation. I originally started working with an agent here last summer, but ended up deciding not to purchase at that time. When the time was right this summer, the agent we worked with last year had moved away, but handed us off to Ivy Chappelle. This ended up being one of the most fortuitous things to happen to us. Ivy was wonderful. She was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and REALLY took the time to figure out what on earth we were looking for, even when the criteria changed on a minute to minute basis (we are very demanding people!). Ivy never seemed annoyed with my thousands of questions or pushy nature. She ended up showing us a house that wasn't one we had really been interested in seeing, but she was on the money- it was the perfect house for our needs. Ivy helped us get the house for UNDER asking price (in this market!), and coordinated EVERYTHING- from the inspections to special paperwork to the tenant who was causing all KINDS of issues for us. I think she would have taken care of our loan paperwork if she could have!! I know it is rare for a real estate agent to get such a glowing review, and a lot of people end up not loving their agent very much. When preparing to sell our home, we met with several different agents. Rich Ovitt immediately stood out as the cream of the crop, and we couldn't have been happier with him as our choice. His knowledge of the area, as well as the market in general, stretched beyond our expectations. His estimations were spot on, and our home sold in less than a week! He explained to us in great detail how he'd assessed the value of our property, showing us comps for all active listings within a mile of our home. He talked through the pros and cons of each listing, breaking down how each might impact the overall value of our home. Once we started receiving offers, Rich was in constant contact with us. He walked us through the offers one-by-one, helped us understand the benefits and complications of each, and took all the stress out of the equation. My husband and I worked with Rosanna Del Rosario, a realtor for the Nick Shivers Team, to buy our house in NE Portland. Right off the bat she was hard-working, attentive and just delightful. This review is way overdue. I worked with Rosanna Del Rosario at the end of 2015 beginning of 2016. Rosanna assisted me with the search for my first home. She connected me with a great loan officer. After a couple months of searching and learning it turned out that the timing was just not right to buy my first home. All one has to do is look this guy up on the Oregon board of realtors... as a broker he's been in so much trouble they sanctioned his license..... don't take my word for it look him up you will find out what a crook he really is.
