On our way home from a Roadtrip on a Friday night we wanted a quick bite to eat close to 95. The Westridge Grill had good reviews so we decided to give it a try and were super glad we did. Our server Jordan was friendly and patient . I have specific dietary needs which were easily accommodated and I wound up leaving full and satisfied having a delicious burger, side salad and fried green tomatoes . My husband and daughter enjoyed the Mac and cheese bites, the big boy bacon and cheese which Jordan suggested would be better modified with added chicken and the chicken zinger wrap. All were amazing . When we finished our meal Jordan told us they had the best chicken salad around and even offered us a sample . The chicken salad was just as good as the rest of the food. I wish we lived closer. Do yourself a favor and stop by this family friendly local grill. read more

Delicious food! Literally everything I've gotten from Westridge has been amazing. They have the best house-made chicken salad and they sell it by the pound, along with other sides. They do trivia night and half price app night, and they even have live music. We love this place! read more

Older bar style facility in a strip mall. Stay with the standard menu items and the food is decent. I had a ribeye steak which was one of the special dinners. It was tough and overcooked. Could probably do better with one of the other restaurants in the area. read more

We stopped to eat here passing through on our way to the OBX. It was a great location and easy to access. There were plenty of tables outside for us to enjoy outside dinning for our party of 9! The food was amazing!! The staff was all so friendly and wonderful. The chicken salad was delicious. The onion rings are a must! Oh & did I mention, you can have mozzarella sticks as a side? Amazing. I stopped by the Westridge Grill for lunch today. It was a beautiful day to sit outside, read a book and enjoy a bite to eat. I can not comment on the interior of the establishment as I sat outside. I shared the patio with only one other patron and his dog. It was great to see that dogs are welcome at Westridge Grill! I had the sweet tea and the Chicken Reaper salad. Thank goodness for the tea as the hot sauce on the chicken was very spicy! This sauce is not for the faint of heart! Fortunately I paired my salad with ranch dressing (a generous amount came on the side) which helped cut down the heat. I would recommend getting both the hot sauce and the dressing on the side. Also, I ordered the half sized portion which was more than enough you can see from the picture! Overall, I had a good experience and would love to come back again for dinner and a beer! read more

We stopped in Rocky Mount on the way home to the coast to catch the ACC on TV. We were delighted to find this bar and grill. The staff was so super attentive and nice. The recommendation of staff of fried green tomatoes as " banging" was spot on as well as the boneless buffalo wings. Driving home to SC we decided to take a 5 minute ride off 95 and stop in. The menu hade some interesting choices. I started with the homemade potato soup, delicious. Then the chicken salad wrap, homemade, fresh and another winner. The wrap came with an extensive choice of a sides, I went with the very good homemade coleslaw. My girlfriend had the half sandwich and soup. BLT and a salad that filled the whole large plate. She was very happy. As good as the meal was the waitress, Joyce, was even better. After a long day of traveling we needed to refuel. We got these lettuce stubs in our salads, which were supposed to be caesar- however they came with ranch. There were also little shreds of peppers and half of 1 cucumber. It seems like they gave us the garbage pile after preparing the salads. The Philly cheese steak was ok. We really like this place, Its comfortable i.e laid back, great food and quick service. We stopped here based on previous reviews. Most were spot on! We started with the fried green tomatoes. I have tried these in many place throughout the country but these have to rate the highest! For lunch, my wife ordered the French Dip and potato salad. It was served on a flat bread and it was awesome (she only shared one bite with me). My wife couldn't stop, about how good the potato salad was. For me, it was the bourbon chicken on a kaiser bun with fries. SOOOO good! This chicken is grilled to perfection and the sauce despite its name, is sweet and savory. The fries are obviously fresh made, very crisp. To to it off my wife ordered me a surprise to go. Later that night we enjoyed a slice of their peanut butter pie. Folks, its worth getting off I95 to enjoy food this good. Be warned though, we arrived at 1230, 30 minutes later is was packed...Yes its that good read more

Stop by for lunch based on Yelp reviews. Bypassed lunch special and instead ordered teriyaki steak wrap from the menu. Wrap was tasty, but could have been bigger for $9.99. I asked for the fruit for the side. I received a small bowl of canned fruit cocktail. This pretty much killed it for me. I asked and received "homemade" cole slaw as a replacement. Again pretty underwhelmed. Looks like a good place to watch a game and have a couple of beers if ever in Rocky Mount. I can't recommend for lunch. I'm pretty certain they have the BEST french fries in town, and the chicken strip wrap on Wednesdays is fantastic. Stopped in the other night with another family for a meal. Place is small but they were very accommodating to seat the 7 of us quickly. Basically half the restaurant is a bar and the other half is regular seating. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Gave me honest opinion on pasta salad when I asked. I had the black and blue burger. It came with grilled onions blue cheese bacon and a nice piece of lettuce. I opted for no tomato. It was delicious. Crinkle fries had some type of seasoning that was good. I asked for ranch dipping sauce. Hubby had the French dip. It came on some type of pita bread. He said it was delicious. Better than any chains in town that's fo'sho. Great regional craft beer selection. Although the menu consists of mainly traditional bare fare they do mix in a few nightly specials that are very good. We had the sampler platter (I recommend this) with shrimp jammers, southwest egg rolls, gouda mac&cheese bites, and the fried tomatoes and followed that up with the Jalapeño Ranch burger. I first visited the Westridge Grill just over a year ago while on a business trip to RM. A co-worker and I really enjoyed the people-watching. As another reviewer noted, there is usually a very eclectic crowd, which makes the atmosphere very enjoyable. My wife and I have now been to the Westridge three times over the past two months and love it! !The head waitress is the best - she is very friendly and is also the local historian for all things Rocky Mount. Great specials on craft beers on tap almost every night. This is a great little place to hang out and be comfortable! read more
