I can't recommend Alp Ertung at Westside Physiotherapy enough! I first saw him when I had a lower back issue at the end of 2023, and after several sessions with Alp, I experienced considerable relief. Since then, I've returned a couple of times, once for a hip issue that I had struggled with for years, and once for chronic stomach problems that had persisted for almost a year. The stomach medications from my doctor weren't helping and seemed to make things worse, and no one could give me an answer. After just one session with Alp, my stomach pain was completely gone, and a month out have not returned. I had no idea how much fascia can be involved with such a wide variety of health issues. Alp is an expert in fascial manipulation, using the Stecco method. Unlike other therapists I've seen, where the FM was either too painful to tolerate or caused flare-ups of my chronic pain, Alp approaches everything carefully and thoughtfully. His method works wonders without causing any discomfort, and I've had the best results with him by far. I feel so lucky to have found Alp, and I'm amazed by the pain relief fascial manipulation has brought me. read more

I went back and had a new one made by Kevin and am happy with it. It is helping with my arthritic thumb joint. Couldn't get past the rude receptionist with the accent. She falsely accused ME of being rude and lied about me right TO me while I was on the phone with her and threatened me that head office would call me. As if I'd subject myself to further abuse, beyond what that individual presents as it being her right to do. Days ago as well as yesterday I was able to connect with two different very pleasant and helpful young ladies on reception, I had one appointment booked but due to a sudden urgent matter, had to cancel and it was agreed I could call again to reschedule. And now THIS. It's difficult to believe that a high profile succdssful business would not help someone suffering physical pain just becuase of second hand twisted ideas and false judgements about a person they have not even met. The short conversations with the two young lady receptionists were brief and positive - I'd be shocked if they had anything negative to say, we barely spoke, the subject was on appointments. read more

I cannot comment on the services because I couldn't get passed the rude receptionist.... I called to make an appointment with this clinic. The receptionist was not helpful at all...She answered the phone and said "Can i put you on hold please" and I didn't even say a word. I wanted to say "I just need to know if I you require a referral for insurance". Instead, she doesn't even let me answer her then she slammed the phone down. I heard her answering other clients in the clinic, scheduling appointments, everything accept taking my phone call. I was on hold for 7 minutes while she continued to forget about me...so I hung up. I can appreciate that a busy clinic, and have to multi-task, but if you are going to put someone on hold, at least wait for them to respond with a "yes' or a "no" to being put on hold. As a new client, I would have expected a little friendlier service, and someone to at least acknowledge a salutation on the phone. Not just say nothing, then forgetting about me on the phone. I was treated by Sarah Kennedy for highly invasive jaw issues. Her treatment was thorough, considerate and extremely effective! Sarah got me back in good shape very quickly, with no relapses. I cannot recommend her highly enough. read more

I have had 5 star help from 4 different therapists there over a 15 year period. This is a solid practice with top rate expertise. I have referred seven of my family members - who spanned a 60 year age range, and were variously recovering from accidents or dealing with issues related to active lifestyle or competitive sports - and ALL have had the results they were looking for, and were thoroughly taught the nature of the issues they were dealing with and why each exercise or therapy was being prescribed. Man am i glad I found these guys after years of ineffectual treatment across several issues. My and my family's issues included: Knees, core strength, recovery from reconstructive hand surgery, back after being rear ended by truck, wrists, plantar fasciitis, dislocated faceta joint, rotated vertebrae, pulled groin muscle, frozen shoulder, torn rotator cuff, TMJ issues and repetitive injuries related to piano and cello playing...I'm sure i've left something out! Anyone dissing the poor receptionist probably just doesn't know how to wait their turn. This place is busy because it is in demand. Be sure to book well in advance - knowing you're getting the best there is! read more

Don't be fooled! This office is is a bunch of money hungry idiots! Not there so much to help you but to take your money. Yeah, they're nice when they first try to get you in the door, your first appointment as well, but then after that it's down hill. The old hag of an office manager, Karen, is an unprofessional imbecile! She needs to learn professionalism. The therapists here at Westside physio are very rushed and do things halfass. I have been here twice for treatment. Once for a mallet finger with Jane and then for a soft tissue injury years later with Sarah. In both cases, the physiotherapists were patient, knowledgable, and highly effective. I would definitely come back again. read more

I sought out Westside Physiotherapy & Hand Clinic for a solution to the dizziness I was experiencing as the result of a concussion. I was assessed and treated by Sarah Kennedy who was kind, thorough, and informative. The therapy - known as Vestibular therapy - is something Sarah clearly has a deep knowledge of. My symptoms have lessened and are practically gone now. I would recommend Sarah Kennedy for Vestibular Therapy to anyone. read more
