The place is well maintained and by and large quiet. Of course, you pay a little more for "luxury" (strange but standard industry term) than you would for a normal apartment, say, in Manchester. A few minor drawbacks that you might want to be aware of: 1. It's great to have a washer and dryer in the apartment. Unfortunately the washing machines don't have a true gentle cycle, just a shorter regular cycle labeled as "gentle"; and the dryers don't have a low setting. 2. The faucets in many of the bathrooms are made for square sinks, so they tend to splash water back onto the back of an oval sink (and facilitate mold growth)--you can ask to have this replaced with a proper faucet. 3. Try to avoid getting a carport under a light: the lights draw moths, which draw spiders, which drop dead insects, etc.

The location can't go any better. You have all the bars and restaurants of Manchester in 5 minutes walk distance. You have I-293 in 3 minutes drive, you have grocery stores in 4-5 minutes drive, so the location is just perfect. Plus, you get to have a wonderful view of the fireworks from the garage! Regarding the amenities I really appreciated the covered parking (something you dont find very easy), the in-unit washer and dryer and the spacious closets. Some of the apartments have lovely views of Merrimack river and Manchester's millyard during sunset. Quite spectacular I would say. Finally, i have only good things to say about the staff which is always available, very friendly and very prompt regarding requests to fix broken things etc. Allyssa (Aloha!!) and Nancy are very polite and were very helping to every request we had! Overall I would say Residences at Manchester place is a great place to live! Guys keep up the good work!

He is going through a difficult personal situation and requested the management to allow him to end the lease a couple of months earlier. He even had a doctor speak to the woman Elisa on his behalf. But she plainly refused. They are unsympathetic and unappreciative of their loyal tenants. Given the COVID situation and difficult times we are all going through we expect kindness which unfortunately does not exist with this leasing company. I will not and do not recommend this place to anyone in good or bad times. Absolutely terrible.

The staff is very nice and maintenance is always there when needed. Other than the paint, I don't think things were done cheaply in here and most stuff is really good quality. The common areas are nice and they keep up the appearances of the building, as well as do events and leave little things at your door on holidays. The bad: The location itself is not great. If you live on the front side of the building you will have less noise. The back side can be a nightmare. There's a utility company that is back there and it sounds like they have 50 foot fans going at all times. It's almost the equivalent of being next to a small highway. It's a lot of ambient noise that makes it difficult to get work done if you leave your slider open on a nice day. The train can also be really bad. When the train just passes through, it's not that bad. The shaking isn't terrible, but sometimes the trains stop behind the building and sit there FOR DAYS with the engines on. As if all the noise before wasn't loud enough. So pretty much forget leaving a window open on a nice day unless you want to not be able to concentrate or hear the TV. Next, they are building a parking garage on this road right in front of the stadium. Getting into or out of my place when the SNHU arena has an event can already be miserable, so once that goes up forget it. You're home all night at that point. The stadium also causes issues. People park wherever they want in the resident parking and I know many have complained but nothing is done. They said a tow truck patrols but living here a year I've never seen anyone towed. It's really annoying because when you go to sleep with the window open you can hear loads of people being loud and walking back from the ballpark outside while you are trying to sleep. It's also a dog friendly community and I do have a dog. Multiple times I've seen dogs off leash and complained but it seems as if nothing as ever done because I continue to see the same people do it over and over again. While their dogs might be friendly, my dog is terrified of others and would not do well if another dog approached him. Lastly, they recently changed their rent and it's going way up. Last I heard a 2 bedroom was $2,900 and a one bedroom as high as $2,400. The prices change daily? So depending on what day you tour there could be different prices. Idk it dumb as hell and a lot of why were leaving. Overall, I'd say if you could pick this building up and move it to like a nice area in Bedford, I'd say it's worth it. If you're looking for a place close to downtown it would be good for college kids or recent grads. Not that most could even afford it. Oh and they also don't want college kids living here... can't live here if you're enrolled in school.

If you have issues, they are very slow in responding. And if you have neighbor issues, they will ignore your concerns. We had a neighbor that kept smoking. We told them about a half dozen times. Nothing was done. They said, we asked them and they told us they were not smoking. Unreal. It only stopped bc that tenant moved out! Lastly, when it snows, they make everyone move their cars in a rushed manner. They will even bang on your door if you don't come outside right away. And while they are plowing, everything is in a literal disarray. It makes living at Socha unenjoyable. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The property is well maintained and the property is very clean. The snow removal is the most organized and thorough no matter how big the storm. This is notable attention to detail to make things safer and more organized. My unit was well designed and in very good condition. The maintenance team is prompt and timely. The other amenities are well organized. The management team is one of the key benefits as Taylor the property manager and Jacqueline in leasing are top notch difference makers. High speed Xfinity internet built-in is good but can be confusing at setup. The speed throughput is fast but not as fast as my standalone Xfinity was. Package delivery is competitive with other complexes Package delivery is always difficult at any complex mostly due the the inconsistency of Amazon delivery drivers. They simply don't follow instructions. USPS is better than any other PO I have experienced. Trash is centralized and easy enough. On certain holiday times the compactors can get full. More frequent removal at those predictable times could help. Overall Tara Heights is an outstanding complex, relatively quiet, respectful neighbors, and an outstanding setting. Highly recommended.

Shopping abounds on the nearby DW highway. Medical care can be easily reached by walking a half mile from one's apartment. The maintenance department is first rate and always willing correct any issue one may have with your apartment. The managers have always stood out for their readiness to help the renter with their concerns. Taylor D, the current manager, does an excellent job supporting the residents. They care about unnecessary paint jobs for the front office and fake greenery for the walls while the actual buildings have bursting pipes in the main hall above the front door and faulty appliances, (due to the drying fans) fire alarms that went off everyday, multiple times per day for weeks afterwards, poor ventilation in bathrooms causing mold and mildew. The water restoration fans in our unit had to be on 24/7 for two weeks, and the office refused to compensate for the costs of the electric burden or even reply to multiple inquiries after we sent the documentation they asked for. When the seal was literally falling off of our refrigerator, it took them weeks (with our food spoiling) to replace the old one with a dented and scratched "new" one, when a plastic knob to operate our AC unit broke, we were told to just use pliers to turn it on. Our dishwasher stopped working about 10 days ago and they are claiming next week to repair/replace. The maintenance guys are good guys but are not paid enough, so they are chronically shortstaffed and too busy to make repairs. Maybe if they paid decently they could attract more people, but they don't care about the residents, just their appearance. We have been here 7 years and never once were even late on rent and this is how this company rewards good paying tenants. We will be moving out at the end of March and we will be speaking to local news and the BBB about these issues as they want an additional $4000.00 ON TOP OF March's rent when we move out. This company is a slum lord, albeit with a fancy front office, but a slum lord nonetheless. Rent elsewhere. You'll thank me.

university heights isn't what it used to be. new management is awful. there's a problem with…read moreunfair rule enforcement. a lot of people that work here live here. they play favorites and don't follow the rules themselves. management allows them to do whatever they want. these people let their dogs defecate on the property and NEVER clean it up. They speed through the parking lots. they let their friends get away with not moving for the plow...but, they give stickers to the car right beside it...enraging! they let their dogs pee on the front door steps. many people (everyone i talk to, and thats everyone) here are fed up and will not be renewing their leases. they'll probably sent an angry email to us residents because of this review. this place stinks.

During the application process, the staff was incredibly professional and friendly. When I arrived this week, the property had been bought by a new management company and they new staff has been one of the best I've ever experienced. I cannot praise them enough. They really care about the residents feeling at home here. I needed help with something when I moved in and maintenance was done within the hour. Even the maintenance staff is incredibly polite and professional. I felt completely welcomed and appreciated. This is what apartment living should be like!!! The apartment is spacious and the views are incredible. I'm excited to call University Heights home!!!
