I visited East High as a coach for football…read more I can't say much about the inside other than to say the locker rooms were clean. The parking lots and entrances are the main focus of this post. There are lots of entrances, but not ease of movement between them. If you're going to a football game, you'll want to enter from Bragaw street. There are two parking lots. If you're coming from Northern lights you'll want to turn right on the road past the back edge of the school nearly to the housing development. I think they should install signage directing people to try field (and other locations). I spent quite a bit of time entering parking lots only to exit them because they weren't connected.

They do science and music and Spanish with awesome teachers, and we get lots of communication from the class. We love the routines and the social environment the kids get to enjoy that keeps them on a great track academically. We would recommend this school to anyone!

There are many highlights and advantages to PNA. The downside is there seems to be a lack of communication and transparency. Each teacher seems to set their own curriculum and classroom standards. Academics could be more challenging. No hot lunch except for pizza Monday's. Tuition is one of, if not the highest in anchorage. Overall is suits our needs as we are only here two years but we will definitely add some tutoring this summer to make sure our kids don't fall behind the lower 48's standards.

Experienced teachers that build relationships with your kids and as parent I get a ton out of chatting with teachers at pick-up. Not ONCE have we had a weird/bad experience. There are many folks here that have been a very positive/constructive influence for our kids over the years and I wouldn't limit the 5 stars to one particular classroom or teacher. Starbright also strives to stay open even when ASD closes for remote learning days which is super helpful with little ones. We are extremely happy that we decided to enroll our eldest in Missy's kindergarten class here. She is one of those rare teachers folks use in those password hints "what was name of your favorite teacher in your whole life?" Also Starbright is recently under new ownership and after experiencing both the old and the new, I can say they haven't lost a beat. The new owner/director (also) Missy is awesome. Bring your kids to Starbright and upgrade your life.

She said they would love to put it up on display so everyone could see it. So after a few months they called her and said they were ready to pick up the 1954 color television and put it on display. So I'm 2008 when I was there she took me to this university to show me what they did with it. I was honestly in shock how they did the history of the Tv set and wrote a nice story about the Tv and about my grandmother's donation. It's a very nice university and I was very proud to see that her Tv is still on display there. In 2014 when she passed away I went back to this university to see if it was still there. And sure enough it was still there looking like the day they received it. Brings smiles to me when I think about it. So if you're ever in the area go check it out.

However, if grammar is your thing, this is your school. The school leadership plays favorites within the school. Communication about fundraisers is abundant and overwhelming (expect to spend well over your monthly tuition bill to attend this school) but communication about academics and overall school standardized test results to see school wide trends is severely lacking.

But there is nice teachers and students. I don't really recommend this school.
