The best thing about visiting the south is Whataburger. I love this place!!!! The service was awesome. I literally watched the young lady behind the counter banter with a couple of guests who seemed like regulars. She had amazing customer service and the regulars seemed to enjoy talking to her. I ordered a bacon and cheese whataburger that was nothing short of amazing. I opted for fries and spicy ketchup. Very satisfied with my order. read more

There were no issues with having clean tables available, fresh food, and no wait time. We ordered, and within a few minutes, we had our food. Fast food is fast food, meaning most don't have incredibly high marks. Most fast food restaurants within a mile radius had one star up to two and a half. I will mention that Whataburger loves its mustard burgers. Every Whataburger we've visited has had mustard burgers, not the typical ketchup and mustard mix. read more

Attention to detail lacking with the night crew. Ordered two burgers, two fries, a drink and a milkshake. - One of the two burgers was incorrect (idk how a Jalapeño Bacon burger becomes some garbage with guacamole on it) - Both fries were cold - Chocolate Shake filled with strawberry residue, which we are allergic to. Today was my first experience with Whataburger after it opened a few years ago in L.H. It will be my last! I think I just ate my salt allowance for the week! The burger was thin and grisly and over priced! Why we don't have a minus star for poor food I'll never know. read more

I try not to eat a lot of fast food very often but when I feel like having a burger, I always get their Double Mushroom Cheeseburger. I don't know how they make their mushroom sauce but they've got it down . I'm not sure one could make such a flavorful sauce other than these guys. You know It's good when you go onto Pinterest app and there's people out there trying to copy it. If You're reading this , I highly suggest that you give this one a try. read more

Excellent. The food was delicious. Came out exactly like we ordered. Delivered to the table. The employees greeted us with a smile when we walked through the door. All employees were polite & friendly, but it didn't feel fake. Dining room wasn't perfect, but it wasn't dirty either. Glad to have a restaurant with the dining room open. Did not leave hungry like some joints either. Definitely feel like we got our money's worth and looking forward to returning. read more

Extremely disappointed in Whataburger. The Lynn Haven location got my order wrong twice on two different tries. I reached out to corporate and no resolution of the issue. What makes it sad is I've been in DC for 20 years and was craving their burgers so much I could taste it. A complete let down from the restaurant to corporate. read more

Save your money & go somewhere else. I don't know what it is about this location, but I was so disappointed after tonight's order that I had to leave a review. After a 14 hour work day, I went to get Whataburger for a quick dinner and our burgers were disgusting.. Our orders were thrown together, soggy fries, and the burgers looked as if they were sat on. Also, both orders were wrong. My burger had her cheese, her burger had my tomatoes, the mustard on her burger was suppose to be ketchup, and the late evening staff must be lazy or incompetent because I asked for onions for me and cheese for her and they put it on both burgers. Oh, let's not forget the crème de la crème being the brown lettuce I tried switching our topping and removing the bs, but after we took two bites we threw everything out. I'd rather get McDonalds on Thomas Drive and that's saying something, lol. I won't be going back to this Whataburger after tonight. Hope you find a better establishment that's a bit more appealing than this. read more

Very delicious huge burgers it reminds me of the huge hamburgers I would get from my favorite burger place called " Burger Time " in Grand Forks North Dakota. Whataburger has very delicious French fries and a very friendly staff. They were my go to place after I would leave the Lynn Haven dialysis center after treatment. read more

Went here on opening week. Not usually a big fan of any king of fast food burger joints but I wanted to swing by one morning just because it was new (everyone deserves a chance right) It was really clean, well laid out and everyone seemed pretty excited about working here. I ordered a sausage taquito combo (taquito, hahsbowns, coffee) the girls at the front counter were extremely nice and easy going. When my order came out i received 2 taquitos and no hash browns. I didn't even notice until the lady came back to my table and explained that I received someone else's order by mistake. Rather than trying to sort it all out and stick her hands all over my tray she apologized gave me my correct order and said just keep the other order and have a nice day. Poor customer service and mediocre food. Today around 6:20pm, I ordered through the website and shortly informed the cashier in order to avoid any mishaps. She said she would check. Later, I heard someone scream the food I ordered. I approached the same cashier only to be disregarded as she didn't even bother to check the status of my order. Over half an hour later, other people who ordered after us have gotten their food. I approached the cashier again and she finally found our food that's been sitting in the back. The food was cold by the time we finally got them. Instead of apologizing, the cashier said, "they're giving you extra fries". We used to like Whataburger (when they were still selling pico de Gallo burgers) but the poor customer service we experienced tonight at the Lynn Haven location on top of the cold and substandard burgers and fries we received definitely changed that. read more

This was my very first experience here and I must say that I was not impressed. My expectations were so high because I've heard so many good things about this place. Maybe they were having a bad day or maybe I received the wrong order. I ordered a burger combo with no cheese...the fries were great but I had too much mustard on my burger that made it unbearable to eat. I was thinking maybe someone asked for extra mustard or the sandwich maker squeezed too hard. Just because of this experience doesn't mean that I won't go back, next time I will check my order before leaving. read more

Pros: Relatively fast Morning time crew is nice 24 hours Spicy keptchup is bomb Cons: Not that clean inside Night staff is rude. Nothing healthy on the menu Whataburger was a place I'd go to often at work as I work 24 hour shifts and it's open when nothing else is. However that's stopped since my last few visits. I had a male supervisor tell me (a paramedic) and my partner that "there's nothing special about paramedics". On his shift it's also more dirty than in the day and you can tell he doesn't want to be there. read more

Being a burger snob, I was curious what level of burger this establishment offered - is it McDonald level or Five Guy level or something in between? I would put it in the in between category, but still very fast foodish. I ordered bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and onion rings. Very fast service and they bring around trays of various sauces and ketchups. I didn't have any expectations other than my own curiosity so it didn't disappoint. However, I feel like I have been there and done that now with no need to return. read more

BOTTOM LINE: This visit I had what may be the BEST hamburger I have ever had ... Seriously!! If you choose to eat here, I hope your experience is as memorable. DETAILED NARRATIVE (skip or read, your choice and please forgive errors in grammer plus spelling): I have been a big fan of What-a-Burger for decades. During my 20+ years working and living in South TX (FYI, home of the Original WaB), visiting WaB became a beloved routine. My Saturday morning visit to Lynn Haven's WaB was PERFECT! Great staff and service, Awesome Freshly prepared burger with fries and a soda, ultra-clean facility, plus a pleasant + entertaining dining experience (involved several sweet Little Ol' Ladies chatting). Yesterday (Saturday) morning, still recovering from a quick turn-a-round drive to Gulfport MS, I had just refueled my '04 Dodge RAM Cummins PU at Sam's (23rd St). It was around 7am when it happened in ... I started craving a Jalapeno Burger with cheese, extra meat patty, topped-off with grilled onions and peppers (more Jalapenos). No Worries, Mate! The nearest WaB was in Lynn Haven, 10 minutes away. WaB has never failed to satisfy but some facilities outshine the rest. Lynn Haven FL WaB is so bright that my visit required sunglasses. The Morning Crew really impressed me. Ordering was easy, low pressure and the young Lady that took my confusing/babbling request (I was still a Zombie, recovering from my drive to MS) was a Saint. She ensured that I received what I really wanted, not what ordered (I was in a near comatose state of mind and speaking in tongues). Paying my bill, less than $10, I then got some Root Beer and sat down at a hidden corner table (back to wall, of course). Delivered with ketchup and a smile, I was soon gazing down on a "sizeable piece of Heaven" with Fries and a Root Beer. My burger could have been used for a TV commercial. It looked amazing, just like on TV, and smelled better. Impressive! (Please note that I dined-in so my meal was not packaged to travel). The first bite was wonderful, better than I imagined. My New Gold Standard for hamburgers is now Chiseled in Stone. God Bless the USA, FL, TX and What-a-Burger!! read more

Normally, I love Whataburger but this location is trash. I always wait in the drive through for AT LEAST 15 minutes. The workers are rude, the orders are often incorrect, and the food ALWAYS seems like it's been sitting around all day. Don't waste your time visiting this establishment. Since this was my first time ever at a Whataburger, I really didn't know what to expect. I've always been more familiar with Burger King, McDonald's, and Dairy Queen so I used those places as a template when trying this place. I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the staff are. And when I saw the food, I was very impressed because the basic Whataburger was the size of a Burger King whopper. I can definitely see why they earned high ratings. Then wrap the Taco and we go home, halve a few and then realize that some were filled decently and other shells are broken because they neglected to fill the fricken Taco Enough so the shell wouldn't crack almost the way across the bottom. Kinda pathetic and cheap when you think about it. Also , I ordered a 5 layer burrito. Might as well had been a bean /cheese burrito. With a splash of a hint of some beef and sour cream. Seriously, if they are going to be that cheap, why don't they just make their product better and charge more. Very disappointing. I used to be a regular. I find myself now only eating there when I've gone so long having Taco Bell that I forgot why I stopped going there the last time. And I'm not alone, All my friends say the same thing. They do like the drinks though that I don't buy like Artic blue or blast. Whatever. Like I said, if they want to take atleast 6 bucks a person or more , they need to make it worth it. The service was excellent and I did not go inside so I can't talk about the ambience however, the building did look kinda old and raggedy from the outside, but that's besides the point I just wanted to give them kudos Because a lot of people post stuff when they have a problem, but they don't give credit where credits due . I got the eight piece bucket and I got three full big size of sides and it was just delicious so thank you very much KFC you are very good!!!!

Dry and stale chicken tenders. We're not even hot, more like warm from sitting under a heat for a long time.
