Just popped in here for a beer after walking Ingleton falls. The board outside welcomes both muddy boots and dogs so that's a good start in anybody's books! Friendly bar person, I always feel a little bit old-fashioned and sexist saying 'barmaid' so bar person it is, made us feel very welcome and was very chatty indeed. Theakston's was the beer I spotted but I was hot after my seven mile walk so I opted for a nice cold Coor's Lite which barely touched the sides going down :-) It was a hot day and the beer garden beckoned but the bar area looked pleasant enough for a less perfect day. Another board mentioned folk music nights if I'm not mistaken and I could certainly be tempted by that. We didn't dine, so I can't comment on the quality of the food, but I had a quick glance at the menu and it contained the usual pub favourites with most main courses at less than £10 which seemed very reasonable considering how popular Ingleton is. A fine and dandy little pub basically! :-) read more
