There's a bunch of bad reviews about this place online, and honestly people need to learn how to…read morestop complaining so much because I was initally feeling skeptical. The prices were that of a typical pub ($18.50 for a chicken schnitzel, et cetera) and the food was absolutely fantastic. My partner and I both had chicken parmigianas with chips and well, I got vegetables instead of salad and he got salad. My only thing is that it is kinda short-staffed, but honestly, the food was that good, I didn't even really care. I'd go here again, and I'd bring my family too. Thanks for making my 6 month anniversary dinner with my partner a great experience.

Okay, the first time I came here for a drink the patrons were actually quite friendly, however the second time they appeared to be increadibly xenophobic (and they didn't even know I was from Victoria, but then again considering how I dress they could probably tell that I wasn't from around those parts). Personally, I wouldn't recommend going to this place even if there were absolutely no other places to go to, but fortunately that isn't the case at this time, so if you happen to be driving down Phillip Hwy and see this pub and are thinking of checking it out then take my advice - keep driving.

The outdoor seating was where we chose to be, and the setting was just delightful. We strolled around a bit looking at all the different eating/drinking areas available, and then settle in to have a very nice luncheon. After eating and settling our bill, we rubbernecked all around the old hotel. I think this would be a charming place to spend a night. A very enjoyable experience.

Well, the atmosphere really didn't do all that much for me, and in a way I actually found it to be rather dry and boring. In fact, the service certainly wasn't the best that I have experienced. As for the beer selection, well, don't be too surprised that it isn't all that great because you generally don't find a huge selection in such pubs. Yeah, personally, I wouldn't bother.

My first thought was that there were much more deserving pubs in Salisbury to suffer that fate than this one, however on a more recent visit I discovered it was simply to completely rebuild it (despite the fact that it looks exactly the same as it did previously - maybe I was dreaming). However what they had done is completely revamp the sports bar and add a real beer garden - in fact it is probably one of the better beer gardens in Salisbury (though there are other pubs that have decent ones). I also really liked the vinyl records from South Australian artists that were hanging on the wall.
