The food places are a Costa Coffee, (which has soft seating) Burger King and Eat In (their "own brand") and a microwave is provided for free so you can heat baby food /milk etc, they even provide disposable bibs (must find their supplier!!) and the changing facilities are good too. They could be a bit bigger, but hey, I do have quite a "sturdy" buggy! Overall a very visitor-friendly place to make a stop.

It's a small, cluttered shop on the busy Coventry Road. The owner is a pleasant man who is great at his job. He completes shoe repairs in a couple of days for less than a fiver! That's around a third of what I've paid elsewhere! He also offers key-cutting services and I've enquired about repairing a stitch for my leather beanbag, which the owner was happy to help with. Parking is a little tricky in this area although you may be lucky enough to find on-street parking. Otherwise, you'd have to park on a side street that could be a bit of a walk.

Prices might not be as cheap as in Brazil, but it is still pretty cheap, certainly not as expensive as I thought it would be. To shorten legs, for example, it will cost £7. They even fix leather jackets, I thought this would be much more expensive but it only costs around £15 to shorten the arms. It's not only shortening they do, they take care of all kinds of alterations, fit new buttons and zips, reline jackets they even make curtains. It's all really cheap and the guy there is a nice fella. There is a quick turnaround and they always look busy. Looks like a good place for any basic tailoring needs!
