I love this bakery!! We always get the triple chocolate mousse cake. It's absolutely ginormous and can feed two people for sure. You get three cookies per pack, and these cookies are pretty huge. They have crispy edges and a soft center, and they're generous with the chocolate chips. I love croissants and theirs did not disappoint. It was buttery, flakey, and huge! The customer service there is great, the girls working the counter are so nice and are happy to give you their recommendations. I've tried their strawberry mousse pie and keylime pie as well per their suggestions and it did not disappoint. I always look forward to stopping by this bakery! read more

Update: the quality of the pies have decreased drastically. They are not as good or presentable as they once were. They look sad and ugly and the taste is meh! The service is ok. The cashiers are friendly but it's like they know they're selling you a lemon. This is a LOVELY establishment. Been here during Christmas when Santa himself is inside greeting customers . Good ol' fashioned service you can't find in a lot of places nowadays. Just popped in for some jalapeño cheddar bread. Let me tell you, delicious to the oven to your mouth! Heat or toast lightly, dip in beans, make a sandwich or toast alone with cream cheese! Hello! The mini pecan pies are to die for here. The glass case displays nothing but goodness. You can have lunch inside, purchase a gift to support local artists as well. I'll start with the positive, the bread and the desserts were great. Specifically the croissants, I will absolutely give them that! I debated between 3 or 4 stars but I had to go with 3 because, #1 the service was terrible, the girl that checked us out and helped us initially was so rude and unaccommodating. She acted as though we were the problem being there lol, questions were met with snide remarks and eye rolls which almost made us leave to begin with but my dad was set on trying it. #2 I guess they make sandwiches ahead of time and just let them sit in the glass window with no cooling or anything( I thought that has to be a health code violation there was no time on the sticky note and when we mentioned it the girl again rolled her eyes and said yeah we give you the sandwich that is sitting right here, the other girl who was much kinder did make fresh ones for us, which was a plus. #3 the place was just dirty, especially the upstairs, there was no soap in the bathroom, the tables weren't cleaned up, it just felt gross for lack of a better word. read more

Not my cup of tea. I found it to be very expensive and the bread isn't a style I care for. Also, it is HELLA expensive! A danish normally is $6 (got yesterday's for 50% discount at least) and a slice of key lime cheesecake was $9. That's why there's no prices on anything, so just keep that in mind when ordering. That being said, the key lime cheesecake is heavenly. That's the one thing I would recommend, just ignore the price if you can. read more

I ordered what the sign said was a 16 ounce mocha. When I got it, it was a 12 ounce. I asked about it, because I paid $14.40 for two of them. They said it was correct. I asked about the sign and they gave me a long explanation about the 12 ounce bring the perfect blend of coffee to milk. I pointed to their sign that said 16 ounce. Again I got their explanation about the blend of coffee to milk and that they needed to correct their sign. 1. This is false advertising. If m not sure there are legalities about this. 2. It was the worst mocha I have ever tasted. So much for perfect blend of coffee to milk. So bad I'm not sure the milk wasn't soured, so I threw away almost 1/2 of it. I definitely will be checking to see if they have corrected their sign. If it isn't corrected I will be calling weights and measures. read more

Very good pies, pastries, breads. I gave it four stars for two reasons 1. Price. Very expensive for this area. $4 for a small coffee, $20 for a few cookies. This is par for the course in the Bay Area but not here. Our incomes are not Bay Area incomes. 2. Flies. I know it's hard keeping flies out in the summer. It grossed me out, though, to see a baker stopping to swat flies while she was preparing dough. I hoped she washed her hands and counters after wielding that flyswatter. read more

I knew it was a bakery, so my goal was to just go in and grab a fresh loaf of garlic sourdough bread. Oh man, this place is chalk full of goodness! Reddings secrete is out! This is a great place to grab fresh pastries, cookies, pies (even by the slice) but also savory items like bacon, sausage or veggie quiche. Perfect for a quiet work space or to meet up with large groups. There's tons of space to spread out either at a table upstairs or at the bar. They serve local roasters coffee here (Feast) and organic teas. The service was excellent as the lady helping me answered all my questions. I will absolutely be back. read more

I just started going here when I was on a quest for a chocolate croissant. LOL! So yes, the chocolate croissants are really very, very good. They're large, light, and flakey. There's a generous layer of dark chocolate filling. I could get addicted to these things! I've recently tried their almond croissant, which is topped with toasted almonds and a lightly sweetened crumble. The filling on the almond croissant is marzipan, which is just perfect in this croissant. Their dinner roll croissants make wonderful sandwiches and are great toasted. Cheesecake...it's one of the better cheesecakes I've had locally. (though not as good as mine! LOL!) I tried the strawberry, which is topped with a strawberry mousse. The cheesecake has a very light tang and had good flavor. Cookies...unfortunately, not worth the $6.00. I got oatmeal raisin, which was not particularly good at all. It was dry and dense. The chocolate chip was good, but not great. I haven't eaten there yet, but the restaurant is huge, with seating upstairs. It's has sort of an industrial chic appearance. The staff is polite and attentive. There are so many more yummies there that I want to try! Glad I bypassed my normal bakery/coffee spot and tried this place out. :) read more

I had heard so many great things, I, the foodie, had to try this place. Superb. It's decorated with cute tables and lights, so it feels warm and inviting. The service was excellent, and it's apparent that this is a cultural thing here. They're sincerely happy for you to be here. The food was wonderful. Ham and cheese croissant was next level. The pizza had wonderful and innovative ingredients making it fascinating and delightful. The quiche was one of the best I've personally ever had.
