I came here yesterday and ordered a chai latte, with oat milk and an espresso shot, as well as a chocolate croissant AND I PAID $17 FRIGGIN DOLLARS! This is outrageous and disgusting. And then they had the nerve to ask for a tip?? (which I did cuz I'm not a monster) How are the baristas not getting paid a living wage with prices like that? I guess they are only for a certain demographic (rich people, aka the worst kind of people). I would easily consider myself a coffee snob, and this is hands down the best coffee in the valley. The vibes inside are immaculate. The employees are all so friendly, but not like "I haven't had my coffee yet, please calm down." If I frequent a place, I prefer to wait to write a review because you just never know if the food/drinks were good on a whim or because of who was working, but WUB has consistently been good. Every. Single. Time. The in-house made brown sugar cinnamon & vanilla syrups are my favorite & unfortunately I can't ever seem to order anything else. I'm sure the rest of the offerings are great, but man. You can't beat a consistently perfect breve. I'm fortunate to live right around the corner, but the coffee is so good that I would come here even if I didn't. It's all curbside and you can call ahead, order through the website or order when you arrive if you need an extra couple minutes away from the kids! WhereUBeen Coffee has a catchy name! Good coffee, great prices, free wifi and they even have couches! They also have tables for people who want to use the wifi on the laptops.. Omg! I have never identified myself as a picky coffee drinker... (Starbucks, to McDonald's, to circle k, etc) I always think they are all really similar... until I tried this place today! This is the best coffee I've ever had. I ordered one of their winter specials (cookie crumble latte, and the banana chocolate chip muffin) and it blew me away. With the friendliest staff I know (who will ask you to taste test your drink and make sure it is to your liking) to regulars who greet you and make you feel like family, this experience is not something you can get at Starbucks. There's free wifi here, lots of seating to study, chill, hangout, and always an upbeat atmosphere. And did I mention they roast Intelligentsia? The only place for MILES in this desert thats got the intelligentsia hookup. Their selection of coffees and teas and pastries really is impressive. Not every pastry is worth it... but sometimes they have some real winners. (Banana pudding waddup?) Get a loyalty card and keep coming back---I'm telling youuu. read more

My mom ordered iced coffee that was strong with a great flavor. I order a matcha latte with soy and I could not taste the matcha at all!!! I usually make my own so I know they must have put barely any powder in there. Sad. Decor/vibe is kinda weird, but it seems like it isn't super busy so would be good for getting work done. read more

I love WUB. They have a neat little spot with some cool art on the wall (most of the time). They have an excellent cold brew coffee (90% of the time) and if you ask, they will typically like you try a small sip prior to buying to see if it is to your liking (depending on who brewed/finished it, the flavor can vary.) Great drip coffee too. Once or twice a week, this sweet lady comes in and bakes awesome stuff. The apple cake is delightful and if you are lucky enough to catch it fresh out of the oven, GET SOME!!! BTW the espresso that they use is organic, so that's a nice added touch, if you're into that kinda thing. Best coffee in Ahwatukee, hands down, and you'll have to drive to Tempe or Phoenix for a comparable / better cup of coffee. I work up the street so consider me a regular. read more

Good Smells, Good Service and Good Coffee! It's a cozy small town feel coffee shop... complete with vinyl records on the wall and coffee bags. The guy who made my coffee today was friendly and nice. I got a blended 32 ounce caramel and mocha coffee since it was 117 degrees outside today and got coffee made me feel sleepy just thinking about it! The coffee was quite nicely flavored and well prepared! This is a really good blended coffee and 32 ounces for $5.75 means I get to hang out a while and relax in he couch! First time being here and it's very nice. It's a bit hidden but it's what makes this place such a find too. The exterior looks a bit plain but the inside definitely has character and finesse. They display artwork (purchasable) and have a community board. So it's clear that it's a coffee shop that not only cares for its customer but also in the community. Staff was friendly and pricing was great. They get major points for originality in coffees and design (their main coffee board is wood printed!) Overall great experience. Only downside I had was the coffee I had was hot and I couldn't drink it fast enough . I also ordered an earl grey which could of done with more steeping time but it was still enjoyable. read more

The first thing we saw was a sign in the window for the coffee that they use- Intelligentsia. We were super happy seeing this, being that we just visited Intelligentsia in Chicago! It was just 15 minutes before close (I know, shame on us... but we had a drive back to Tucson that we needed to make!) and the barista greeted us like it was the middle of the day! He was super chill and accommodating and willing to answer all of our questions. Let me tell you that my boyfriend and I love sweet drinks; the more sugar the better! But my bf decided to try the Cubano and for me, a 12oz iced latte with white mocha syrup. And guess what.. $7 for both of them! How ridiculously reasonable, and in Ahwatukee? I was so shocked. We tried my bf's Cubano first.. it. Was. Amazing. And not sweet at all, which surprised us because we'll usually take all of the sugar we can get! Such smooth, frothy goodness. We then tried my latte, which was just as sweet as I like it to be. We didn't get to stay very long, but the atmosphere was super vibrant and cozy. There are so many comfy couches and bench tables. We felt like we could hang out there without getting that "uninviting" feeling that we get from some coffee shops. Five star service. Five star coffee. I had the worst experience here. This young guy behind the counter was just staring into space when I got there and there were 2-3 people in the shop. He waits about 3 minute before taking my order (2 dirty chai lattes and 2 bagels) after about 5 minutes he puts up someone else's cold brew coffee...why that took him close to 10 minutes is beyond me. At this point a female employee shows up. The two of them begin a loud conversation about how they dislike the owner. Eventually my coffees and bagels come up. The drinks were only okay. I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because the female employee was thoughtful and offered to bag the bagels and got me a drink carrier. read more
