My GF and I (shopping for the GF) have been coming to this particular Heroines boutique for several…read moreyears and it never disappoints. The designer is local and so are the fabrics. We were told that all the clothing is made in France and England. I have no reason to suspect otherwise. Assuming this is true then Heroines is a bargain! Perhaps it is my Bronx skepticism kicking-in. The manager/salesperson was outstanding but I can't remember her name. I don't want to say how much we spent, but let's just say we greatly surpassed the US incoming custom's exemption. I guess we'll just need to donate the excess prior to re-entering the homeland...

Dresses, shoes and coats inspired by 1950's vintage style with a modern edge, gorgeous construction and design. Nina helped choose some things that were wonderfully complementary to my body shape stating "it's not about size, but shape". As I'm a few sizes larger in France then the US, this was very helpful to hear. She was a great sales person, spoke beautiful English and was a lot of fun. I adore the jacket I bought and am actually looking forward to colder weather so I can wear it and let the complements roll in.

It's a huge store, and prices are a tad high for an Abercrombie, but hey, you're in Paris, what do you expect? Staff was friendly enough, despite two guys cleaning the floors when we entered and still there when we left. A bit strange. In the end, it's a huge store, and worth a quick visit.
