Our server checked with management, and came back to tell us they could do that. It was nice to be accommodated like that. We shared an order of tropical French Toast, and it was excellent. I had the 2 egg breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit. The eggs were perfectly cooked. Three others at our table had the Eggs Benny with crab and said it was real crab, very good. We had a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was great and the staff was friendly and attentive. One thing we really appreciated was the size of the menu there were so many options to choose from, which made it easy for everyone in our group to find something they liked. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fresh and flavorful. Everything we ordered was prepared well and tasted great. It's always nice when a place delivers both good service and good food. We decided to sit outside, and the outdoor dining area was really nice. There was plenty of space between tables, which made it feel comfortable and relaxed. Tanner helped us out, he was just great, and said welcome back as my friend had been here before. I liked that. It's nice and clean and friendly and a casual atmosphere. We stayed quite a while to talk and they were fine with it - being weekday. I got the 2 egg, 2 bacon, pancakes and brought home more than half of it. Friend got bennies on biscuits. The pancakes were very fluffy but not airy - really quite good. I got them with blueberries added to them. They seemed a little bit sweet but so good and fresh. A perfect spot on Atlantic Avenue on Cocoa Beach! Sat on the outdoor patio. Had a lovely breeze from the ocean. Beautiful blue skies. Tanner was the most wonderful server. Very attentive and absolutely so friendly! My friend and I split 2 dishes. Veggie scramble with potatoes and the Crabby Benedict with hash browns. My first poached egg and it was amazing! The portions are very large. And you have your choice of bread or a cookie! We opted for the cookie and was very surprised. Nice and warm! I arrived shortly after they opened on a Saturday morning. There were a handful of customers already there and I was greeted with a smile and "Good morning" by a friendly employee who stated that I could sit wherever I wanted. The inside is a large open area with seating consisting mostly of tables with 4 chairs. There's also a bar where one can choose to sit. Finally, there's a covered outdoor area which looks as though it can accommodate about as many as inside. I grabbed a table and within seconds a friendly employee, Jennifer, greeted me, handed me a menu, and took my drink order. She promptly returned with my coffee ($3.55), steaming hot, in a nice glass mug, and took my order. The coffee is advertised as "Peet's", and I've been a fan of their coffee for years. It was very good. Shortly thereafter my order arrived. I ordered their Avocado Toast breakfast ($15.05). It came with two eggs (cooked any style), and your choice of potatoes or fruit cup, of which I chose the latter. The Avocado Toast came on sourdough toast, avocado, pesto, tomato, and feta cheese. It was very good except I did remove a little bit of cheese as an abundance of feta cheese can overwhelm the taste of other ingredients pretty quickly (IMHO). The eggs were cooked medium to my liking, and the fruit cup was fresh and sweet. Jennifer came by several times refilling my coffee before it even got empty. She provided excellent service. The bill came to $19.90 which I thought was reasonable and competitive with other places. The food was good and the service was excellent. They're open daily, 7am - 2pm, and they have a drive through. I recommend you check them out. read more

My review is only for a drive-thru experience which was really lackluster. The exterior seemed dirty and unkempt with zero landscaping. They can do better. Hate when a place carries Califia almond milk, with such a chemical taste. But I can rise above my first choice drinks with an Americano or Cold Brew. Peet's Coffee wasn't a bad coffee, I'd drink it again, but it was not as great as several of the other options in town. I'd love to try the food, but every time I passed by it was jam-packed. Our waiter was awesome, I can't remember his name, but the young man was really cool, funny, and gave great recommendations of what to order. My friend ordered a margarita and I waited until I got on the beach. She thought it tasted only like sour mix. I tried it, and it definitely was ONLY sour mix. Our experience at Whisk & Grind was very good. The restaurant from a decor standpoint is plain but has some cool slogans on t-shirts and wall. Very clean! The folks greet you are welcoming and seem to enjoy helping you have a great breakfast. Claudia who was our server was friendly and attentive. Only slight was I could have had more iced tea. But, other than that all good! I had the Mediterranean omelet with hash browns & onions. My wife had the veggie skillet with poached eggs. For the bread you can have bread or a cookie or the choice of coffee cake (+$2.50). The coffee cake is awesome! The Mediterranean omelet has spinach, tomato & onion and topped with an ample amount of feta! Cooked nicely and served hot! While I was in Cocoa Beach Florida I had found this gem. I noticed they had drive thru along with being able to come inside and sit down. I love how they had option to sit inside or to sit outside to enjoy your meal. I chose to sit inside due to it sprinkling a little. I was greeted when I walked in and seated quietly. The menu was very easy to read and locate something you wanted to try. My server Sara was wonderful. She answered my questions and she explained the different drinks. I had came twice so I got to try the following items: Peach mimosa(very delicious), Turkey sausage, and Raspberry stuffed French toast. I was very satisfied and stuffed with my food options both times I went back. I love that they have a full on coffee station which is the reason for the drive thru. I went in for breakfast and attempted to order cafe au lait and eggs Benedict. Both are on the menu. The waiter -- Tanner -- had never heard of cafe au lait, and asked me if I wanted a latte. I said that I did not and that regular drip coffee would be fine. He went to the coffee bar and told them what I asked for, then came back to tell me what cafe au lait was (as if I did not know), and asked me, "do you want that?" Yes. That's why I tried to order it. After that, he went back to the counter to commiserate with another server about my having ordered something from the menu that he had never heard of. The two of them stood there and gave me side eye as they gossiped about it. A food runner who looked like a zombie brought out my eggs without ever saying a word. She looked comatose. Tanner was then at a neighboring table taking an order. As he was standing there tending to that table, he was giving me side eye the entire time. I really wanted to leave a tip that reflected the unusual vibe in this place, but the way they have their handheld payment devices configured, the selections are 25%, 22%, and 20%, in that order. You can enter a custom tip, which I wish I had done. In the end, $26 for breakfast for one person. The food was ok. It was nothing to write home about, certainly not worth $26. Still, the reason I would never go back here is the vibe. The workers were caddy. It's not my fault you work in a coffee bar/breakfast restaurant and don't know what's on the menu. It's not like I ordered anything that exotic. It's a basic staple. Recommendation for the server: learn your menu. read more

Meh. Not many unique dining options in this small beach town. The locals need to get out more. Three stars. Targeting the young, hipster crowd, Whisk and Grind provides food that is a tad too average to rave about. I ordered the ham and eggs; the eggs, while cooked to order, had a tad too much salt sprinkled over it, which I did not appreciate, and some of the homestyle potatoes were overcooked and inedible. I also did not appreciate being charged for liquid sugar for my coffee when I was not informed there would be an up charge for that (seriously?). Finally, when paying by card, I saw that a 25% tip came out to $12.65, so I figured a $10.00 tip would be fair. I was then dismayed, upon receiving a paper copy of the bill, that the tax came out to $2.83. I normally double the tax for the tip, so had I been provided with a paper copy of the bill up front I would have questioned the liquid sugar up charge and given a more appropriate tip of $5.00 rather than the more generous one of $10.00. I felt the food was average and deceived by their billing process, and would not return as a result. read more

This is truly a diner experience. I sat at the Peet's coffee bar and ordered up a coffee right away. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking. The place is bright and welcoming. I'm over hearing playful banter between the staff and some locals which adds to my confidence that this will be good. I ordered the polish sausage with eggs and a pancake. The over medium eggs were cooked to perfection. The hash browns were cooked well and the sausage delicious. When the parking lot is always full you know what's up. We started going here for breakfast and when we got up late my date would get breakfast and I would get an early lunch. There was a place on the Outer Banks of North Carolina called Poor Richard's. They made a great Reuben. I moved a gave up finding its equivalent until now. This corn beef Rueben is actually better. Real rye bread and actually grilled. I'm not a fan of their fries here with some type of coating but the sandwich is wonderful.
