    Wondering how long it takes to get my LG appliance rebate which I submitted in July?

    I had lg rebates also. It does take a few months to come in. I would call the rebate company directly. They will let you know if the paperwork was received.

    I would STAY AWAY from this service provider all together. The owner put me on a "no service…read morelist"....more on this below. The owner does service calls and performed a trouble shoot on my refrigerator about a month ago. He suggested that the fan motor needed replacement, but to defrost first and he would return to fix. Once defrosted; the refrigerator (and fan) worked fine. I called to cancel the follow-up at which point he indicated that the part had already been ordered. I ask that he return the part and offered to pay the restocking fee...which he decline to take and said was fine. I did pay them for the initial service call. Fast forward a month and I called the business out to perform another repair..at which point I received a call at 9:30pm the night before my scheduled appointment to inform me that because of the previous interaction that I am now on the "no service list". I offered to pay for the restocking fee again, informed him that if there was a loss of revenue due to any time commitment that I would offer this as well and had no idea that he felt so strongly about this (which TBH felt like over and above then what I needed to at this point). I contacted the office the next day...found out he was the owner...and the while the receptionist seemed to feel for my situation, informed me that he was the owner and can do what he wants. True....but not very customer oriented...I would be very careful about dealing with this company...it seems that if your repair situation changes that you will be blacklisted. Good luck!

    Dave's billing process: they can't provide actual per hour labor cost--"every job is different."…read more Can't provide receipts for parts--"too difficult." Almost $600 for a dryer vent clean and reconnect and a door hinge and gasket replacement on a dishwasher. I will not return.

I contacted Home Pro and got a very quick response from David. Within 30 minutes of his arrival, David had diagnosed the problem as a faulty door switch. Unfortunately, the part had to be ordered but within 48 hours, the part arrived and David was back at my home to complete the repair - with a savings of more than $125 off the LG offer. David is professional and very respectful of my home. The first thing he did when he arrived was to put on "hospital booties" to protect my rugs. That attention to detail plus his ability to diagnose / repair in a timely manner is reason enough to recommend Home Pro. Kathy

    My LG washer didn't drain anymore. Living in Newton, I called Home Pro Appliance on a Sunday, and…read morethe repair person came within an hour and a half exactly when expected. He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

    We gave Hudson Appliance the dimensions of the refrigerator that we needed to replace and accepted…read moretheir recommendation. The item they delivered, however, was too deep and did not fit the space, actually blocking one of the entrances to our unit. We also had told them that the doors had to be reversed to open on the right, but that was not how it was delivered. When advising them of the problems, Hudson asked if we had checked the dimensions of the unit they recommended; to which I replied, "Did you check the dimensions we gave YOU?" No reply. When I asked why the installers didn't call Hudson to alert them that the refrigerator was blocking the door, I was told that they "just deliver and set up." When we told them that the doors were not reversed as we had asked, they told us that they could not be reversed; despite their telling us originally that they could. Despite this being clearly their fault, when we asked them to take it back, Hudson said that we would be responsible for a 30% restocking fee. We had considered going to Small Claims Court to resolve this, and we are confident that we would have won; however, we decided that it was not worth our time to save $250. They eventually took back the refrigerator and charged the 30% restocking fee. Having spent 30 years in senior management for large and small retail companies, I can say with conviction that this was extremely poor customer service and one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a consumer. I do not like leaving negative reviews, particularly for small box stores, but given their indifference to us, I feel compelled to call out Hudson Appliance for this terrible experience.
