We came here since we were shopping nextdoor. The place is a bit far from central so this was the first visit for me. Got the lift to the top and we had drinks and small bites for lunch and looked around. It was very quiet but also decor was very standard to the other houses. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any Christmas decorations up. 3/5 Crab linguini - this was very oily 4/5 Chips - very good I'd come back to this house if I was nearby. Had the chance to try out - for good money, mind you - the club/restaurant and the hotel. (Yes, I was a member at that time.) The hotel is overpriced - as most of the Soho universe is, even for members - and the rooms are tiny. Mine had a view of a (I am sure exceedingly "retro") wall. The restaurant gave me food poisoning. Find a friend with a membership card to Soho House and make sure they invite you! This is my favourite location so far. This latest addition to the group is located in the old BBC studios and you can still feel its history. I particularly love the downstairs lobby which looks like an old fashioned BBC reception with retro TV sets and favourite shows flickering above the desks. Once inside and upstairs White City House is pretty much like all private members clubs these days, filled with professional folks hiding behind their MacBooks and the odd group of casual diners. At some point during the evening the laptops are packed away and the place turns into an upmarket bar. Apparently there is a rooftop pool too ... read more
