I normally frequent the Elkhart CR 6 Dollar Tree, and while that store is significantly smaller, it's always stocked up on pretty much everything. It was the exact opposite at this store.. lots of space, but not enough products put out. There was 1'+ spacing between items on shelves, many of which were empty. I essentially walked in and walked out. Today I was at my MIL's house, whom lives about 2 miles from here. I thought I would save myself a trip all the way to Elkhart by just stopping at this location. To be sure they had what I was looking for in stock (refillable travel sized bottles), I called ahead. Nobody cared enough to answer. I decided to head the couple of miles to Elkhart instead, at least there I know they'd have what I'm looking for. Lost a customer simply because they couldn't answer the phone.

I've never dealt with racism before but I dealt with it today. I watched a Hispanic couple before me return a pair of shoes that have obviously been worn. They look not good. Well they let them return them without even looking at them. Just scan the receipt then. The manager came over and took the money out of the door and gave it to him. But me they looked over the shoes with the fine too comb and then refuse to return them because they said the bottoms were dirty. I forgot to mention I called before I came because I live an hour away. I called to make sure that I can return them and I explained that my son wore them one day and they didn't fit him. They were hurting his feet so I called to make sure that I wouldn't get turned away if I drove an hour to return them and they said no problem. If I was Hispanic they wouldn't even have looked at them but since I wasn't it was a problem. What a horrible store. I won't stop until that manager is fired because it's not right to treat people like that.

If you have never been there you would be surprised of all the unique things they have. Every time we go I leave with stuff in the shopping cart. My office has a large number of things from Hobby Lobby from a J and K tins on my wall (my kids names) to a distressed picture frame with my family picture in it. When all else fails and she shops longer then me their is always the #hobbylobbychallenge. Any store that I do not choose to go into that I don't mind being in is a 5 star in my book.

The workers are especially kind to my disabled clients that I often take shopping! The store is a great Senorsy experience! The pink "Try Me" hearts are a great way for nonreaders to understand what products they can try! I belong to the texting club and love the sales. Shipping & Handing fees on the B&B website are stupid but 'in store pickup' is cost effective. For really dry skin the "lotions" are meh but the "hand creams" are wonderful, well worth the extra money.

First I make my way to the candles.  I'm obsessed with lavender and of course they have a wonderful lavender candle so into my basket it goes.  I prefer candles over the plug in smells because i remember to blow out candles better than I remember to unplug the plugins before they run out and burn something. Next, I go to lotions.  I love all the great smells but I don't like how lotions make my hands feel so I just smell those. Now my favorite part: sprays.  They have basically every option of scents that they have for other products.  The sprays are definitely my most bought option.  I've always bought my sprays from Bath & Body works and have never been disappointed. So a spray and a candle is what made my day in the store today.  Thanks guys.

But it certainly didn't improve my mood that they were holding fitting rooms for people while they were out browsing more outfits. As always the Maurice's employees were friendly but over-bearing. I don't blame the ladies, I've been to enough Maurice's stores to know they train them to be that way, but it's still obnoxious. I went in planning to buy, but was so irked by the whole experience that I just left and went shopping elsewhere.
