The inside is very fun. Dark and aesthetic. Bar looked cool. Service was good as well. The waitress was on top of checking up on us and helping us out. She was nice to my kids. The food was good, but not fantastic. If you love garlic, this is the place for you. I got the steak, potatoes and green beans. Green beans were yum! The potatoes were dry, overcooked and not a lot of flavor. Steak was good but wished for a sauce or something. My husband loved his gyro. The lamb kebabs was super tasty. The kids chicken Alfredo was a hit. Calamari was overall not very good, very chewy. Sauce with it was yummy tho.

This was such an interesting restaurant! I grabbed dinner here while on a work trip with my coworker and it was great! Food was flavorful and service was super friendly.

If this isn't my fave restaurant in our area, then I don't know what is! This was our anniversary dinner this year, and the food, atmosphere, service, and just everything was as wonderful as the many times we've come here over the years. I always want to order something new, but get drawn back to what I always have: start with the onion soup and an app platter, and finish with the gyro plate. Love it all! Hubby went with their take on chicken parm, and raved about it. Wish we lived closer, but it's a nice treat whenever we can make the time to go here.

My family and I arrived at White House Grill with a big appetite and high expectations. Both were equally met. The dining experience was very cozy, our server was so kind and all of the items we ordered were very good. High recommend the lamb!

Not sure when this became a thing?? Definitely does NOT make sense!

Food was ok. Definitely seems to have gone downhill. They definitely need to do some work on the ambiance. The outside looks like it's closed. Our server was good. But that 3% charge doesn't make any sense.

Started with the SARMISAK- it was delicious. Large garlic cloves and the pitas were a perfect combo. Followed up with the BAHCE that was recommended and very good. I paired it with an virgin mojito My friend had the Greek salad and added gyro meat and ate enjoyed it as well. We had excellent service. I highly recommend this place if you haven't been. They won't disappoint. I will be frequenting here. Described below: (The perfect way to start your garlicky night! Our roasted garlic dip with ground walnuts and parmesan cheese. Served hot with your choice of baguettes or warm pita bread.) Description below: -Traditional köfte (seasoned ground beef) grilled and set over seasoned rice and topped with feta, tzatziki and lemon onion relish. Served with green beans. 18.00

Tonight I had a chicken kabob. It was very nice. We also enjoyed the chicken Alfredo and the Kuzu Mackarna, the service was a bit slow but the place was packed. Even though it's a Thursday you might want to make a reservation. We did only wait 10 minutes to get a seat but another 15 before the server came over. That's okay though too. The ambiance is very loud and busy. The place smells amazing and it's fun to watch the cooks hussle around and yell out orders. Looks like the staff has a great time at work. And the food shows how much they love their jobs! We all love garlic so we really enjoyed our garlic bread appetizer. YUM GARLIC! If you don't like garlic you best go elsewhere to eat because this place does not slack on the garlic.

The perk of having a little one is eating dinner a little earlier. This place is ALWAYS busy, but luckily we were able to sneak in. We started with Turkish cigars. This was a first for us, definitely not the last time. So tasty! I ordered the shepherds salad with grilled lamb. The lamb was phenomenal. My husband ordered the karisik gyro (the deluxe style). It's so delicious, especially the fries! Our daughter did the butter noodles. She was quiet and ate without us asking so I'll take that as a 10/10. You can't go wrong coming here. Just prepare for garlic breath.

If you want Mediterranean food done right, White House Grill in Post Falls is the place. From the moment you walk in, the vibe hits different--lively, warm, and full of energy, like you've stumbled into a party where everyone's invited. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Flavor-packed dishes that actually taste like they were made with love, not pulled from the back of a freezer. Garlic heaven, fresh ingredients, and portions that don't leave you hunting for a snack afterward. The service seals it--staff who actually seem to enjoy making your night better. Smiles, quick refills, and that genuine hospitality that keeps you coming back. It's the kind of spot that turns dinner into an experience instead of just a meal. Honestly, it's everything some places wish they were. (Looking at you, Backwoods in CDA.) The White House Grill doesn't have to try hard--it's just effortlessly good. 5 stars all the way.

Everything was absolutely delicious! We had wonderful service with Brittany. She was an attentive and informative. Our water cups were constantly refilled and it made us appreciate our visit even more. The environment was clean and inviting! We had that Cacik, Hummus & Eggplant & the curried chicken ravioli (not pictured) and it was some of the best curry we have ever had (it was more creamy than spicy!) Very enjoyable experience all around. Highly recommend for your next date! We will definitely be back!

We ordered the Idaho potato skins (without bacon) and they were supremely yummy! Crispy, cheesy, and just right with the sour cream. Our non-alcoholic drinks hit the mark. For mains, we ordered burgers and pasta primavera. The pasta had great flavors-- a nice cheesy sun-dried tomatoes sauce with a plethora of garden veggies. There was a nice kick to the sauce which I relished. We ordered crème brûlée for dessert. It was splendid! Our waitress was sweet-- she kept checking in on us to ensure we were doing okay with our food. A 10/10 here. Parking situation was okay given how crowded this side of the town gets on a weekend. We managed to find a spot. The only thing that confused me is I am not sure if this restaurant does complimentary birthday dessert. I indicated on my reservation but I don't believe they do anything about it. I am surprised that a restaurant at this caliber doesn't do anything to make their guests feel special. We told our waitress and she did bring a candle on the crème brûlée. I guess that's all they do then. My only other feedback is to have more vegetarian options on the menu.

Seated me and served water right away. The young server that served the water recommended the panino sandwich, which I was skeptical. The server was a lovely young lady who's name escapes me , but she had other recommendations. I ended up ordering a strawberry lemonade and the panino. It was the best sandwich. The bacon bits were carmalized and ham was seasoned well. I also had a bowl of split pea soup. It was creamy, rustic and very original. The view of the snow covered mountains and docks with sea planes in the background just added to the ambiance. I did notice a rather sizeable salad bar that looked fresh. I travel alone for work and would definitely bring someone with me as it seems this place can be romantic at night

Ciccarelli's -- Coeur d'Alene…read more As someone who has traveled extensively -- including throughout Italy, one of my favorite places on earth -- I do not say this lightly: Ciccarelli's serves some of the finest pizza I have ever eaten. And I mean anywhere. Italy included. There is something almost impossible to describe about truly exceptional pizza. At a certain level, words begin to fail because great pizza is not analyzed... it's experienced. It's the kind of food that causes conversations to stop mid-sentence because everyone at the table suddenly realizes something special is happening. That's Ciccarelli's. I've lived in Coeur d'Alene barely three weeks and my wife and I have already been there three times. At this point, resistance appears futile. Every pizza we've tried has been a masterpiece. Not "really good." Not "our favorite in town." Masterpiece. The crust alone deserves poetry -- blistered, wood-fired perfection with that delicate balance of crispness, chew, char, and tenderness that only happens when people truly understand dough. Every ingredient tastes intentional. Nothing feels thrown together. Every bite -- from the tip of the slice to the outer crust -- is a full gastronomic experience. Favorites so far: THAT'S AMORE -- red sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, black olives & mozzarella. THE SPICY ITALIAN -- spicy red sauce, pesto, Italian sausage, red onions, fresh mozzarella, parmesan & basil. Ridiculously good. THE STELLA -- olive oil base, goat cheese, prosciutto, apricot preserves & honey drizzle. Sweet, savory, luxurious, and somehow perfectly balanced. And the Pizza Margherita... Listen carefully: A Margherita pizza is the ultimate truth serum for a pizza restaurant. You cannot hide behind toppings. It exposes everything -- crust, sauce, cheese, balance, restraint, technique. Ciccarelli's passes that test with flying colors. Their Margherita has become my weekly sustenance pizza. And then... The desserts. Good grief. Most restaurants treat dessert like an afterthought. Ciccarelli's treats it like a sacred continuation of the meal. I am slowly working my way through their dessert offerings, but I keep getting derailed by the BLACK BOTTOM COCONUT CREAM PIE. I have been eating coconut cream pie for over seventy years. Seventy. I have NEVER had anything like this pie. The rich saturation of flavor... the generous texture of real coconut... the black bottom... whatever culinary sorcery is occurring back there needs to be protected by national treaty. It is so good that you could honestly justify visiting Ciccarelli's solely for dessert. Also outstanding: * Piña Colada Cream Pie * Strawberry Shortcake Torte * Napoleon * Cannoli The restaurant itself is immaculate, intimate, warm, and beautifully designed. Seating is limited, however, and deservedly so. My advice? Get there early or go on a weekday if possible. They also offer lovely outdoor seating. And finally, the family behind it all. There is something unmistakable about a place built by people who genuinely love what they do, love each other, and love the experience they are creating for others. You can feel it the moment you walk in. That kind of thing cannot be faked. Ciccarelli's is not merely a restaurant. It's one of those rare places people discover and then quietly hope doesn't become too famous because they still want to get a table. An absolute gem in Coeur d'Alene.
