They replaced our old chase cover with one that was so flat that it had puddles on it after it rained. They drilled rusty screws down through the TOP of the chase cover to fasten it, instead of stainless screws in the side. Then they put a booger gob of caulking on them to try to seal them. Then they got crazy with the caulking and tried sealing the chimney collar to the chase cover, which defeats the purpose of the collar to allow air flow. Somewhere between all of their installation errors, they defeated the very purpose they were hired for, which was to stop the chimney from leaking in our garage!!!
