Personally, for me, it's all about the peonies - big and bright in a million shades of pink...delightful! When ordering flowers at Florienne they ask if you want it in a box or bouquet style. Both are beautiful but bouquet is my preference - they start at around $60 and are happy to work to your preferred colour palettes. Delivery in the area is only $5 and they are happy to do same day delivery (provided they are not craaaazy busy). They also have a fantastic range of cards and some beautiful potted orchids. Definitely my no.1 flower shop in Takapuna - would definitely recommend if sending flowers in the area!

They've got a good range of ready-made bouquets at different prices and sizes, so they're really affordable for anyone. I love the sunflowers here so I'm always a little biased when searching for the perfect bouquet here! They also have a great wall of teddies, chocolates and gifts to add to the bouquet of your choice- this place is a smash on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, with empty shelves outside by the afternoon. There are some nice orchids here aswell which I haven't yet found the right occasion for, but they're gorgeous to look at. The ladies here are very nice and really good at their jobs, it's always a happy experience interacting with them. The last time I was here I bought a bouquet for a colleague and wanted it couriered- the whole process took all of two minutes. I wrote in a cute card of my choice, gave my colleague's details and it was set. A smooth operation and her flowers were delivered within the hour! Service at it's finest.

The service is fantastic, everyone that works there has a vast knowledge of flowers and they are always willing to help with any questions you may have. I can name 3 Korean owned in Auckland that I have used at one time or another more often than any others over the past years. I won't name the other two as I am writing this review about this one , not any other. And I have had the need to use this one very very recently. Unfortunately though I use this one when I have to go buy flowers for someone at work , never for personal reasons, though I have used the other two for that. I will go here instead of my works preferred florist up the road in Remuera ( i am a bad employee , not following company protocols! )as this one over the time I have used it has produced great bouquets , all flowers are good quality, given excellent service and the owner is super friendly and even will greet you by your name when she remembers it. And the price is not too bad either. One day I will go here to buy flowers for my own reasons not for others....I am sure my wife will appreciate that greatly!!

We loved their small milk jugs in pastel green or blue, which can easily double as a flower vase. A nice reminder of my island visit on my kitchen bench. They have a lovely range of flower posies and bouquets on display in store and are always busy in the background fulfilling their Waiheke Island daily flower deliveries or doing amazing wedding flowers. The flowers are very beautifully arranged in bunches if you need something pre-done and ready for a special occasion, or there is an ample selection available that you can have made up at your request; or buy a bunch of random bits and pieces and arrange for yourself at home if you want to get creative. The flowers have also been consistently fresh, so quality is guaranteed. They have another store in Henderson, 229 Lincoln Road, according to their business card, but I have not been in there yet, so cannot review that one until then!
