I had…read morealso used their services for my previous oil change and returned because of the excellent service I received from two particular technicians. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, those technicians were busy, so a different technician handled the service. Based on his interactions--asking the other techs for guidance--it was clear he was either new or unfamiliar with the specific requirements of my vehicle. The facility allows customers to observe the service right in front of you, and I watched as the new technician drained the oil, lowered the vehicle, and added new oil. He then indicated the service was complete. While I noticed that something about the process felt different from prior visits, I couldn't immediately identify what had been missed. As I paid, I asked the technician I was familiar with whether they also check fluids during the oil change. At that point, the technician who serviced my car admitted he had forgotten and went back to add washer fluid. Two days later, on July 30, I realized what had actually been missed: the oil filter had not been changed, even though this was included in the service I paid for. I immediately called the shop. They insisted the oil filter is always changed, but I assured them this had not been done and offered to return so they could inspect it themselves. When I arrived later that day, the two original technicians--whom I trust--removed the oil filter, confirming it was indeed the old, dirty one from before. I took a photo and sent it to my husband. The original technician falsely claimed that he had changed it. I told him I had watched the entire process and saw otherwise. I emphasized that while I understand mistakes happen, I do not appreciate being lied to. The filter clearly had not been replaced. As I was leaving, my husband called and suggested that we should at least be compensated for the inconvenience--either with a refund or a free oil change. I agreed. Since I was already out of the parking lot, I called the shop. After multiple attempts, someone finally answered--who turned out to be the manager/owner. I explained what had occurred and informed him that we were requesting compensation for the incomplete service and inconvenience. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he implied I was lying by saying the filter was theirs. I reminded him that I'm a returning customer and they had performed my previous oil change, which their records could confirm as to why the filter was theirs. When I suggested compensation, he responded dismissively and said I was "incorrect," claiming a filter can last through two oil changes. I explained that such a claim was unacceptable. He then made an offensive and generalized statement: "You people always want something for free." I was shocked and offended. At no point did anyone at the shop offer to make things right, outside of changing the filter at my request--I had to advocate for myself entirely. I calmly explained that I wasn't demanding anything unfair--just suggesting reasonable compensation for a service I paid for and did not receive. The owner said I should've asked for a discount instead of something free. I replied that it would have been good customer service for them to initiate that offer, especially given it was their mistake. I went out of my way to return to the shop after being out of town, simply to have them complete a service they should have performed correctly the first time. He continued referring to me as "you people" and eventually offered a mere 10% discount--while still speaking to me in a rude and condescending manner. When I told him I didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to me, he talked over me and finally said, "You people can just go do business elsewhere. We don't need people like you," and then hung up on me. I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful customer service. I remained calm and respectful throughout, but I was treated as though I had done something wrong for simply expecting quality and honesty. I still believe compensation is warranted--not only for the mistake, but for how poorly I was treated. For the record, I have visited this business three times--twice for my vehicle and once for my husband's. Each time, we were paying customers. Our money has always been good. Their service was not. This experience has shown a complete lack of integrity, professionalism, and basic human decency. I will never return to this business, and I will not recommend them to anyone else.

Ronnie and Yorks Auto Werks, to cut to the chase, is the best BMW shop we have ever experienced…read more(and we have been to a few!). Now for the details...this is not your typical large shop "in and out" revolving door. Ronnie runs a small shop, and it is very personalized to your particular job. We had a beautiful red BMW 2003 Z4 that literally sat in a field/pasture for roughly 5 years, covered by a tarp, waiting to have a battery/electrical issue addressed. In addition, while pulling it out of the field, we ripped off its bumper by being a little too hard on it, as a hurricane came in. So all in all, this car was in pretty poor shape when Ronnie accepted it in as a project. My wife had it towed to him, and he began work, and the pictures and communications were constant! It had dirt embedded completely under it, wires were a mess in a few spots (rats), but all in all we set a not to exceed budget and Ronnie worked with my wife every step of the way to stay within and make judgment calls (ie if transmission doesn't work, don't proceed to other jobs, etc.). Emphasis; he worked with my wife mostly, who managed each step with he and I to recover this car, and he was GREAT (not over-bearing, explaining the parts and the decisions to be made, and trade offs at each stage). Happy to say, Ronnie brought us in right under budget, we got MORE done than expected for that, and it is purring down the highway every weekend (we have several hundred miles on it at this point). We take it back for minor fixes here and there, but our car is back in motion and running like a dream. Bottom line: If you want someone who you can work with, who will communicate with YOU every step of the way, and who knows EXACTLY what he's doing (he trained back in the day one of the premier BMW shops in Texas) then Ronnie and York Auto Werks is your place. I would drive this car across s the country just to have him specifically work on it, he's that good.

I had two experiences with them: one good, one very frustrating…read more Good: Had to go get new transponder keys made for my husband's car - though they took longer to do this than they had said they would, the wait wasn't horrible and their waiting area was nice. The price for the keys was less than I had been quoted by area locksmiths. They did an allover check of the car (and washed it - nice!) while I was there and recommended new brake pads, also pointing out there was a recall repair that needed to be done. They ordered the parts for the recall and scheduled the repair very easily. Kelly was the service advisor - very professional and courteous. (Something strange: It was Valentine's Day and they gave all the female customers a red rose...WAY corny and kinda weird, in my opinion) Bad: Took the car in for the recall repair - handed over the key to Kelly and she said, "Will you be waiting with us or are we dropping you off somewhere?" Well, she had said it was a 5-6 hour repair, so, nice as their waiting area is, I wasn't planning on parking myself there the whole time. I assumed they would have loaner cars available - every other dealer (and most non-dealer repair shops) I've ever been to offers a courtesy vehicle while my car was being serviced. Kelly said "We're one of the only Honda dealers I know of that doesn't offer loaners. You can rent a car from us, though." I just asked for my key back and asked what other Nissan dealer in the area DID offer loaner vehicles. She was kind enough to direct me to a dealer south of Conroe and I'll be going there. I know I shouldn't expect amazing customer service from a dealership (frustrating to say, but true) - but seriously, I don't want to *rent* a car from them while they're fixing a manufacturer problem on my car. We had been thinking about doing a trade-in with them - that won't be happening now.

They were friendly, professional and sympathetic to the situation I was in. They were able to get me into one of their loaner cars, overnighted parts in from Dallas, had my truck fixed and washed by noon the next day. All of the staff and service manager were attentive and had plenty of folks on hand to make sure there were no waits for anyone. The total price for repairs was very competitive. I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend to anyone.
