nella viola took her sweet time getting my prescription filled and im at there mercy because my other pharmacy does not have my medicine. they are slow. i called a few days back and they told me the medication was ready.. they lied.. took their time...they dont care about anyone time...i called them twice... nothing ready... like seriously keep your word.. laughing joking.. im going to be late to work.... never again Let's update... unfortunately I had no choice to pick up my medication there. There was a middle age white male who's going bald "some advice just shave it off". He is a d^ck. He talks sh^t in the back hiding like a pu^^y. Not a professional at all. He told me "TO STAY AT MY OTHER Pharmacy and dont come back" you idi*t if they had my medicine I wouldn't be going to Whitestone sh*thy Pharmacy... They couldn't even find my medicine for 3 WEEKS. I expressed appreciation in person to Whitestone Pharmacy staff on Tuesday afternoon, the 26th of March 2019, for being consistently accommodating and caring about my friend's needs. They come through for my friend in terms of supplying and delivering the needed prescriptions. They care to monitor the refills and call when necessary to inform or seek clarification. They suggest additional products that would alleviate pain. Based on my experience with Whitestone Pharmacy staff in the recent six months on behalf of my friend, they have earned my trust. I am so appreciative of them that I am prompted to do this review for my friend to inform the public. Being with Whitestone Pharmacy gives patients the assurance and assured feeling that its staff has their patients' back. It's like having a family for those who have none or like having another family for those who have one. When I walked in, Ms. Nella was talking to a senior man who has pain. She sounded compassionate and firm yet genuinely concerned that the man expressed agreement. I had been going to Rite Aid pharmacy for years until a Tamiflu shortage prompted the pediatrician to call around. Not only was Whitestone Pharmacy the only place nearby who had it, they filled the script and called to check on my kids a few days later. They are efficient in putting together prescriptions. However, the shelves are extremely dusty. A lot of their products are over priced. Their dmv vision test is 20 dollars when harpells is 10 for the same service. However my biggest complaint is.... I believe he is the owner. The shorter mid-aged man, had made a very inappropriate comment to me when I went in to purchase an over the counter item. A few other customers were in there at the same time as me and he also made dirty comments to them. Very disrespectful and inappropriate! read more

This is not your average review of a pharmacy yet I think it speaks volumes about the incomparable service and value to the community small businesses like Whitestone Pharmacy can provide. Before I begin mind you, I am NOT a regular customer. Due to my insurance plan, I am stuck with a mail order pharmacy otherwise the prices are ridiculous. I am so glad they advertise because they offer many services, including pet meds. So I called, got some prices, and found out a couple would be cheaper with them. Great....story over.....no. My dog had surgery a week later and by day 3, which was a Sunday no less, she still refused to drink any water. I really did not want to go to the ER in Plainview when I knew what to do and could take her to the vet on Monday. I called the pharmacy and spoke with Veronica (again), and told her my situation. I needed Pedialyte, some syringes, and at that point I just started ordering bandages, advil, whatever I could think of because I felt so bad and I was freaking out. Not only was everything delivered, she delivered it herself because they close early on Sundays and she had sent the delivery guys home. Plus I had to force her to take a tip! Now, to receive not just service but kindness like that when I have yet to spend a dime as a regular customer, blew me away, hence I had to share this story. Next enrollment, I am going to try to find a plan that is more flexible. Business owners like Whitestone Pharmacy deserve more community support! Big chain pharmacies treat you like a prescription rather than a person. Veronica, thank you again, you are a major asset to your employers and have a raw talent when it comes to business relations.
