Their brightly colored canvas bags in different sizes with zippers to close are incredibly strong and such a good price. I was looking for an outdoor decorative woodpecker that I got there years ago. Exactly what the title of the business says it is...world of crafts!!! We were wanting a place with crafts and homemade items and Whitney's did not disappoint! Everything from pillow covers and metal signs to homemade soaps and hand carved wooden decor! More than crafts. It's actually a flea market with a ton of booths. Each stocked by different people. There is a huge variety of stuff here. No way I could list it all. My son likes the baseball card and sports memorabilia booth. Little bit of everything. Worth stopping in and taking a look around. Not sure what these people are so paranoid about. I tried to take a couple pictures of my daughters sitting in some really nice wooden chairs and I was immediately reprimanded in front of a lot of people about taking pictures. He said there is a big sign on the door, which it is not that big and not that noticeable. I just wonder what they are trying to hide. Are they worried that some of the things there might be stolen from an old house or something? I am not accusing, but it does happen. Overall the store is not too bad. It has a few so-called antiques but most of it is just tacky junk. Half the store is just cheap, kitschy junk you might buy as a gag gift for somebody. There are better stores in the area, so I would suggest going to one of those. Most small businesses can't afford to be rude to customers, and especially not in front of other people. read more

Some of the most rude people I have ever met! They were approaching closing time but there was still plenty of time to shop. They ran us out of the store and locked it up and the man behind the counter stared us down like we were criminals as we were leaving. I felt VERY uncomfortable there and I do not recommend this place in the least! The guy followed us through the store like we were going to steal something!!!! My husband and I were sadly disappointed with this store. To start with there were not as many antiques as we thought there would be. On top of that the staff were quite rude. We were not aware of what time they closed and there were many customers in the store when we arrived. However, while walking through the store the man came up and informed us that they were closed and seemed shocked that we didn't know(as if they don't get 90% tourists who may or may not be aware of their hours). Anyways, feeling rushed we put away our items(which he did not seem happy about) and walked towards the front. My husband made a comment to the lady at the front as we were leaving that he was sorry and we weren't aware of them being closed. She made a snarky comment back at him, and that was that. Overall the place was okay but COVID has nothing to do with how good/bad you treat your customers and that is why I leave 1 star. read more

Purchased a leather credit card holder offered by Pat and Taylor. I may be mistaken about the 1st name but am sure about the 'and Taylor'. Got to the car and decided to put my credit cards in the holder and ditch my current one because it was falling apart. Much to my surprise, the credit cards would not fit because the card slot was not wide enough. So, I forced a couple of cards in the holder and had a very difficult time getting them out. Definitely something you do not want to do standing in line at Walmart. I tried other cards like driver's license, military ID, etc. None of them would FIT and when I say FIT I mean fit in the slot without a struggle. And what happens next is the threads break and I am left with a $16+ piece of absolute junk. Obviously the individuals selling the holder never put a credit card or identification card into one of them or have no sense of what would make a usable card holder. I went back inside to ask about the return policy. I walked up to the counter and the individual I purchased the holder from just sat there until I said what is your return policy. She asked why and when I told her she asked another associate the policy. They only exchange items she was told and she repeated it to me. I did not notice such a sigh but anyway, the holder is a piece of junk and is not usable. She said I could swap it for another and walked back to the holder cabinet with me while I tried a couple and neither was any better. read more
