I'm not in a position to comment too much on the finer details of its wares as a non-golfer, but I was there to pick up a present for my golfing boyfriend and was amazed at the range of goods offered, and the friendliness and attentiveness of staff. There are a number of 'driving-nets' in the back of the store where colfers can try out clubs by whacking balls into the nets, to their hearts content, something which I've had to suffer watching my boyfriend do on many a wet saturday afternoon. A number of the staff are apparently also PGA qualified professionals and thus qualified to give lessons to customers should they wish. I'm not overly experienced in golf retailers but on the basis of my experience would highly recommend Scottsdale.

I needed to write about 5 emails a day to get one answer where my parcel is because the tracking service on the website is really not useful and good. And then after 2 days I just got the answer that overseas delivery might take longer, dont know but I think if you buy clothing at a store for about 200 or 300 pounds you can hope for a more friendly and helpful customer service. The Clothing are always great and a really the same as orderd but as I said the service is only a 6 out of 10.

I have experienced both places, in a 1 on 1 with a member and also in a big group (20-40) for parties and themed evenings. First the good: The entire place is kept beautifully clean and the staff can be helpful and friendly. Second the less good: To be honest the food (breakfast/coffee and dinner) is little above average, bordering at times on mediocre. Sure I would again but it would be for the atmosphere and the facility. Not exciting at all in terms of cuisine. The golf and gym would have to be rrreeaaallyyy good to lure me in! My partner enjoyed it so much he's been back twice in the past two days! It's great if your competitive too as they have the certain yards marked so you can see how far you managed to hit the ball. I would recommend buying some gloves though as by the end of the day, my hands were covered in blisters But overall it was a great day, enjoyed by us all and I'm sure we will all be back again in no time and this time with gloves!! haha Free parking too which is great! Play Golf is a driving range next to the Trafford Center, and a nice place to practice your swing…read more It has 2 tiers, with 64 bays. Its floodlit and heated, so you can play in the evening. It has target, so you can practice all sorts of shots. You can take your own clubs, or hire them for a small fee. You dont have to pay to use it, you just pay for the golf balls. It costs £2.50 for 25 balls, £4.00 for 50 or £7.00 for 100. Its open til 10:30 in the week and 9 at weekends, and you can stay as long as you want. There is also an American Golf shop at the entrance where you can buy your own clubs, clothing, balls, gloves and accessories. Fore!!
