I've had some mental health issues for as long as I can remember, and during my last pregnancy I struggled with it a lot. Working with Dr. Thompson was completely different. She took my mental health into serious consideration and made sure I knew how important it was for me to take care of that as well as my physical health. She is also the reason why I started seeing a therapist; as she heavily recommended it at the beginning of the pregnancy and that on top of my medicine management made the whole experience so much healthier mentally than my first pregnancy. I absolutely love Dr. Thompson and I'm excited to have her as my OB/GYN for years to come! Also, her nurse was incredible as well! Deliana (not sure how to spell her name, hopefully I got that right! My friend sees another Dr, so I know that if my Dr isn't available to deliver my baby, I'm still confident in the other Drs in the practice. My doctor is Dr. Michelle Heintges and I can't say enough great things about her! She takes the time to get to know you and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and understood. I prepare my questions in advance of each appointment we've discussed my birth preferences throughout the entire pregnancy. Parking for each appointment has been easy & although my husband cannot go to each full appointment (due to COVID regulations), he has been welcome (after temp checks and waiting in a separate area) at each ultrasound.
