Been a couple of times and haven't been disappointed. It's a small shop so there's only one or two employees (meaning sometimes slow but always friendly service), however the wait is worth it. I've had the classic savory crêpe (not my personal favorite but my mom loves it), the Nutella strawberry banana, and the cookies and cream (both super yummy). A super cute place to go if you want some delicious crêpes. read more

I am very happy I've chosen this place for my B-day get together party. I've called and reserved the table for 14 people. On the actual date, the table was perfectly set and ready. All my friends and I loved the service and food. Food didn't take long, crepes were different styles and variations, however everybody told me it tasted swiped good. We all ordered first from the register and then sat down. Coffee was hot and fresh, crepes were amazing: delicious and hot. Again, our server and the cook did a great job. We've stayed there for about two hours, and I ha a blast. There're plenty of parking and a small outside patio for three tables as well. I am very-very pleased with this place! read more

Delightful place! Our crepe's were delicious!! I had the Melanie. Filled with delicious fresh mushrooms and asparagus. My husband had the bacon and egg. Generous with the fillings and very good!! The crepes here are delicious and the ingredients so fresh, and the owner of the restaurant is extremely kind and puts a lot of care into his crepes and customer service. There's a ton of parking since it's right across from Old Poway Park, and Wholly Crepe reflects the Poway vibe in its homey, slightly rustic, and cute atmosphere This place is totally worth a visit if you're in the Poway area!! read more

Seriously the best crepes in town! The owner is very personable. He walks arounds and enjoys talking to his customers. The crepes are perfect and generously portioned, including the kids menu. My husband and I booked Wholly Crepe as the caterer for our post-wedding brunch in Pala, CA on 5/23/21, and we had a great experience! LG responded immediately to my inquiry and made some great recommendations for our menu. He was so communicative leading up to the event, and he arrived on time (despite traveling quite a long distance and going up a steep and winding road!), set everything up, and cooked up a storm for two hours, and our guests loved the delicious sweet and savory crepes! read more

This place is delicious! There wer ladies behind the counter making crepe magic happen, and you will not be disappointed if you drop in. They've got breakfast crepes, they've got a chicken pesto crepe, they've got desert crepes. They can even make them gluten free! They've got paninis, too! My wife loved the bread her panini was made with. Owner came in and he was here fire quite awhile. He walked around the entire time maskless. However, I had to wear a mask as did his staff. While eating my crepe a staff member was in the kitchen making vomit gagging noises. Yum! That made the sriracha mayonnaise painted all over my crepe that much more appealing! read more

On one of the scorching hot evenings we've had, we decided to drop by this place. The place was super smoky inside. Not sure why. Looking at the menus & signs, On one sign, it said they had a Philly Cheesesteak Panini but on another sign it calls it The Rocky. Ok, I get the correlation but you could at least name it the same. So my husb ordered that. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Panini. I was informed they were out of that. Ended up ordering The Italian Panini. The wait was LOOOONG though it wasn't that busy as we sat outside. My sandwich was REALLY salty (toss in the chips that come on the side & you're parched). My husb said his sandwich was good but nothing spectacular. I love supporting local small businesses however ya gotta give me something to want to come back to. I was underwhelmed. read more

I've heard good things about this place so we tried it today. I got the veggie crepe and my daughter got the egg and bacon one. She said hers was pretty good. Mine was not so good. First off all the veggies inside were stone cold and way to much basil sauce drenched on top and inside. It tasted ok but as I was eating I think someone forgot to peel the onion. I had big slices of the outside of the onion all throughout my food. To top I off and which ended the meal was the hair at the bottom of the plate. I really wanted to like this place but too many yucks about it. read more

Nice little mom and pop shop in old Poway. What I love about crepes is that you can have them for a meal anytime of day. I love that it's located in an area that's quiet and peaceful. The server was nice and the crepes were made just right. Not too thin, not too thick. Filling of the crepes was good too. Wasn't too thin like subway sandwiches and not as thick as a double double burger. read more

Well, the crepe was good, the thing is, it was a strange experience. No music, all quiet I can hear my silverware hitting the plate as I ate, the man who took my order looked so dirty, his shirt was dirty, so were his pants. I wanted to think the stains were from maybe painting or what not, I'm not sure, he was not pleasant at all. The food was good, but I felt very uncomfortable eating here, I should have taken it to go. Not planning on coming back even if the food was good. At least get a radio and play something, it eery, the place has an echo and without any music just seems off read more

I had the bacon and eggs crepe and my boyfriend had the koffi's crepe and in both of the crepes the bacon was a little too crispy for me but my boyfriend seemed to enjoy it. They went a little too heavy and cut into big chunks. The chipotle mayo was a delicious touch on both!! The cantaloupe slice seemed out of place on the plate and I needed up not touching it at all. The strawberry and banana crepe is super delicious but I wish there were more strawberries. Overall the presentation the presentation of the plates was a 10/10! read more

What an amazing little breakfast and brunch place! The shop is located next to the Farmer's Market in Poway that takes place every Saturday. A perfect stop for a delicious breakfast and a taste of Poway (Farmer's market and the historical museum aling with other point of historical significance are located near by). We ordered an Italian Savory and Hazelnut dessert crepe and both were just amazing. They have a nice little patio area where you can bring a dog with you, Which worked perfectly for us. Crepe sizes are also just right. What I liked most is that the sweet crepe wasnt drowned in extra sugar but just the right amount. Salami and all the meats in the Italian crepe were so tasty. Its a little hidden gem in Poway and you have the opportunity to enjoy it! read more

The employee was very efficient and friendly. A lot of people were in and out while I was here, and he didn't back up the line or anything. He was cashiering and making that coffee on expert level. I got a vanilla latte, tiramisu and a baklava. The coffee I wasn't too impressed with, because the vanilla latte I had was somewhat powdery? It was a bit grainy. Probably won't get again. The baklava was okay, personally found it a bit too sweet but technically that's normal...but I'd advise eating more than one in one sitting lol. By far the best thing I've had from this place is the tiramisu. The tiramisu I had was amaaaazing! Super fresh, not too sweet, and not too strong! Perfect layers and they were adequately portioned. The service was a bit slow but perhaps we went at a slow time but overall it's not a bad place to get a small dessert. Coffee wasn't stellar so I'll pass on the coffee next time.

If you want mediocre pastries that do nothing but scratch your sweet tooth, there are dozens of places out there that are happy to do the bare minimum. Donutopolis in Poway is not one of those places. For the same price if not better than their competitors you will received not only some of the best donuts you have ever eaten, from flawless classics to innovative specialties, you will also receive so of the best customer service you have ever had at a donut shop, or most other restaurants for that matter. The staff have made their small corner store into a friendly and comfortable place to pickup treats for your events or sit down for a fulfilling breakfast any day of the week, and with special made-to-order treats for larger events, such as their giant birthday donut, Donutopolis is your one stop shop for all your donut needs. A personal favorite of mine is their maple bacon bar which I can comfortably say is the single best maple bacon donut I have ever had, and they are consistent. In fact once when I went in to get one before work they were sold out, and when I asked if they had any the baker offered to make me one right then and there. For no extra cost he didn't just sprinkle bacon bits on a plain maple bar and call it a day, he used fresh maple icing to glue the bits onto the bar, a bit of extra effort that I truly appreciated as I had to eat it on the go. It's the little things like that which show me that the people running this store and making these donuts aren't just doing the bare minimum, they care about their craft and they are dedicated to bringing you fresh and delicious donuts every time you visit, never cutting corners and never disappointing.
