There is a mixture of goods for sale. Secondhand books feature prominently - especially craft books (the owner's specialist subject). There are also rich textiles, many from Morocco, and other bits and bobs including jewellery, slippers and lamps. Although the range varies I have seen what looked like a belly dancing costume in the window once, and a rather nice row of bags that seemed to be made out of carpets! Definitely not to be missed if you are visiting Sedbergh.

There are two separate rooms with the barber's at the front and the ladies' salon tucked away round the back. Tea or coffee are offered as a matter of course and there are the usual magazines to look through. Although you won't come away with the latest city slicker hairdo, you can get a perfectly decent cut here and the stylists do listen to you, which doesn't always happen elsewhere!

After speaking to a number of local people we settled on Think Interiors to undertake the work. David from Think Interiors came and measured the kitchen and made some suggested improvements to a design we had been happy with for 10 years. He also drew other designs that we rejected due to costs. A deposit paid and a date was set. The fitter arrived and the old kitchen disappeared as promised. The new kitchen was assembled and installed just as expected. There were a few "snagging" issues that needed addressing and I am delighted to say that they were done without hesitation. All in all a promised kitchen has been delivered. No hesitation to recommend Think Interiors.
