Good portion sizes obviously, as this is of course a Yorkshire chippy! But not crazy like some. Lunchtime special was fish and chips, bread and butter and a pot of tea for £6.80. Fantastic value especially considering the quality of the food. The menu is actually quite large and so would cater easily for anyone fancying a change from the standard. And with some very tempting proper puddings too as well as beers and wine for anyone who fancies it. Very good!

They won an award a few years ago for best fish and chip shop but I still think they're one of the best in Brighouse. The fish is beautiful and they do great chips. I love to get them from here and go and eat them by the canal on a sunny day. The staff in here are friendly and always have a smile. The shop looks a bit old and worn but still very clean. I haven't been in the restaurant but it looks nice from the outside!

Fish portions are still stingy, but they probably fished it out of the canal anyway so you can't blame them. However, I do have to say that the batter IS very tasty.
