The outlet village is a little smaller than most of the outlet malls you will find in America but it was still fun to try to find bargains. We found a few here and there. Quality of items varies per department. In terms of quality: meats are a hit or miss, produce is reasonable, cleaning supplies are very good, alcohol is surprising competitive in quality with grocery-store wines. Also an excellent place to get confectionary items and candy for a fraction of full cost. Only one cashier on duty at a time. But hey, this is a discount store, cutting overhead is what keeps prices low.

Since this is one of the larger HEMA stores in Maastricht, you can explore the upstairs area and even find a small cafeteria. Downstairs, there's also a food section with a small bakery. If you think you're going to be a frequent shopper here, I recommend getting a rewards card and keeping up with the email newsletters they send out with weekly deals!
