Was told the pipe may be collapsed i would have to pay extra for the camera service. Even after the pipe was cleared if there was a heavy rain the pumps would run and the basement would still get wet. I had Wood's come out a year ago. Gave me a great price to clear the line and use the camera. 1st major point they were the only ones to root it from both ends. 2nd major point camera showed no damage to the pipe saving me thousands and tearing up my front yard. Sureflow did it without any issues. The second place wanted me to pay a dispatch fee which I didn't want to do if they also didn't want to open that panel. Sureflow didn't charge me a dispatch fee. The 3rd place no showed and when I called to figure out what happened, they were vague about when they would get to me. I called Sureflow and they came on time at our agreed upon date. What should have been a professional sewer service turned into a biohazard situation that now requires professional remediation and possible removal of contaminated materials. The technicians and management were extremely unprofessional throughout the process, and after we raised concerns about the condition the basement was left in, communication became dismissive and calls were repeatedly ended without resolution. If you are dealing with a sewer backup or any situation involving contamination in your home, I strongly recommend hiring a company that takes proper containment, cleanup, and customer safety seriously. The total bill was $628.00, to install a dishwasher I bought for $350. I was curious so I called a competitor in Townsend, and I was told it would cost around $300. These people are thieves. He was shopping with his wife in Warwick, RI, but realized that the situation was truly an emergency. He promised to be on the premises within an hour and he was. Prior to that, he asked me to take a picture of the valve with my iPhone and send it for his review. This way, there was no ambiguity regarding the problem or the job.
