The restaurant is larger than it seems. Downstairs where the washrooms are, there is ample room which I believe can be used for functions or whatever else. Everything is made fresh to order. They have a separate hut where you can see the fresh sugar cane machine at work, pressing the juice out. Overall, the quality and presentation of their drinks and desserts are worth their price- it is so unique and delicious. Service is great, and prompt. I highly recommend this spot - it definitely makes you feel like you're on a tropical island.

During the Mississauga Waterfront Festival, I had the pleasure of meeting Leo and the team after being extremely intrigued by the name 'ribbon fries' - I was NOT disappointed. They are like the tornado potato fries (which they also offer) but they are not on a stick, and on a plate, they look simply delicious. Seriously, we had the plate on our table for less than a minute before a passerby demanded to know what it was and went to order it right away. I bit into it, expecting it to taste like regular ol' chippy things, but to my delight, these were the freshest potatoes EVER! They were also perfectly salted. Omnomnom. The truck is a bit plain and could definitely use better marketing to sell these amazing fries and poutines. I think they're thinking of revamping it to draw in da crowdz - he also recently got a new TV that broadcasts pics of the food offered! Steppin' up the game! The food offerings here were not your over the top stereotypical food truck eats, instead they focused on doing classic menu items (hamburgers, sausages, hot dogs, fries, poutine, etc) I was only looking for a snack and when I walked up so when I asked for their personal recommendations they suggested that I go with their poutine. The portion of poutine was massive and the cheese curds were perfectly mixed throughout (which is actually an accomplishment since so many places just top their fries with cheese). The best was the gravy; hot, thick (without lump) and a great salty flavour! We had the food truck at my wife's 50th Birthday Party, and I tell you there is no so such experience. Maryam and her husband are the greatest, and will do whatever, to make sure there are smiles everywhere. We do a lot of entertaining, and Italians eat well. but i have to say these guys topped it!! I received unbelievable compliments, thumbs up from everyone, adults and kids, and our friends still talk about the burgers, and poutines till this day. I could not believe the size of these burgers, and there taste. Thank you again Casalingo for an amazing surprise 50th birthday party for my wife Ida, and your patients. I had been recommended the beef poutine but actually it didn't go well with the burger, since the beef was chopped up burger patty, so it was the same as the burger. The burger had fresh tasting toppings & patty. The poutine was a good size for one person, but the curds didn't squeak, the fries were not crispy despite being fresh (they were like home fries in the form of French fries). The gravy was good though & the beef was quite tasty. There's no option to upgrade the fries in your combo to a poutine. But basically the combo gives you a free drink anyway.

I ordered 2 corns - one for me, one for my mom and also bought sweet tea. The guys were so nice! It didn't took them long to cook, we only had to wait few minutes. We can choose any toppings but me and my mom decided to go with seasoned salt only. We took it home. I have to say....i ended up finishing mine and mom's corn hahaha! The sweet tea was topped with lemon - refreshing and perfect! Such a short experience i went but so memorable, love it hehe!

I probably wouldn't enjoy the fries as much if I didn't add the gravy to it. Verdict: A must try!
