Obviously I was going to go to their competitors with this information but they didn't seem to mind one bit - and when I came back to them to haggle, they were quite obliging! Their stock was quite impressive - they had a lot of landscape gardening stuff, not just building materials, so worth a visit if you're doing your garden.

The owner doesn't snoop around you either, which makes the whole experience very enjoyable. I always find it hard to leave!

We ordered our kitchen worktop through these chaps, some velux windows, kitchen appliances and all in all they're very very good. The only sad thing about them is that if we hadn't had the trade discount I would be saying that they were ridiculously overpriced and not worth it. Some of our discounts were up to 50%, which just goes to show that joe public might be just being ripped off! However they're off the beated track slightly which means they probably aren't targetting joe public and probably just thrive on the trade business. There is a handy car park just outside.
