    Chili cheese dog and Fries
    Tia B.

I'm a huge fan of this chain from when I lived in CA, but always happy to have the chance to revisit. The chili cheese dog (upgrade to 100% Beef from the original) is fantastic and the fries are great-the large fries are the big cup in the picture and the large soda was 44 oz. The value is apparent and it's very easy to have a meal for $$8-$10, even in the more expensive areas like CA. (Cost of living..Yadda, yadda-but it's a good value and a great treat. They also sell a canned version of their chili for $5, and I'm taking quite a few of those home.

Service was fast and they got my order right. I had the chili dog and fries and everything was really tasty.

Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and the chicken was juicy with that signature fire-grilled flavor they're known for. Their citrus-marinated fire-grilled chicken is definitely what makes the place stand out. The sauces were a great addition and made it easy to customize every bite. I also grabbed a lemonade, and it made for the perfect quick lunch. The portions were solid, the food came out fast, and everything looked just as good as it tasted. Definitely a great option when you want fast food that still feels fresh and filling!

I have to give the kid credit because I'm always a pain in the butt and ask lots of questions but he was patient with me and it worked out. First aid them up with the creamy chipotle quesadilla which was really good. The only issue I would say is the outside could've been left on the grill just a little bit longer. Chicken tenders. Ordered the chicken tortilla soup, which was edible but not what you'd expect from a decent chicken tortilla soup. I ordered a 4 piece loco tenders and the young man was nice enough to give me two classic and two spicy. They were OK tenders but if you see the pictures they're small and For I think what was about $11. It didn't seem as though it was worth it.. if they were spectacular, I wouldn't feel as bad. I'll try them again some other time because the regular chicken looks pretty good. I've yet to have it.

Ah, but it's been probably 30 years since I've been to an Arby's - my wife finds it vile but I had a hankering for a Beef & Cheddar, and figured the way to make it go away was to just have one. Turns out they have a half-pound variety now so - you betcha I got that. Along with some potato cake things that were also new to the menu since my last visit three decades ago. They have a serve-yourself soda fountain with a decent variety of drinks. Well . . . it's a Beef & Cheddar, all right. To be honest, the half-pound variety was just too big for the bun - the meat and the double measure of cheese and sauce just sorta glopped off when I picked it up. And, probably my tastes have changed: the Horsey Sauce didn't seem piquant and the barbecue sauce just tasted sweet. The thinly sliced meat didn't taste of anything other than salt and the "cheese" glop was, well, not what I remembered. The store was great and the service was great. Prices were fine. The food was okay and it scratched the antojo I was having for the taste. Probably won't rush back, though: I blame that on my tastes having changed - I suspect Arby's products are as unchanging as the Sandias.

I asked her if the curly fries were hot and she said she would make fresh ones for me. I ordered beef and cheddar meal with a vanilla milkshake. I ordered the roast beef Gyro, which was lacking a bit and we should've opted for lamb. I had asked if the peach cobbler rolls were any good and the assistant manager said she had not had them yet. I teasingly said well then you should have cut one open and we should both sample them. Once my order is ready she handed it to me and said hey I threw in one of those peach cobbler rolls for you to try.. all the food was hot and fresh. The only thing I would change next time would be the roast beef Gyro.. I know a different note. I will say that the half pound beef and cheddar is just a touch too much meat for the sandwich.

It was like it was a staged set on tv with extras and yes a manager delivering condiments from table to table. I ordered a #1 with onion rings & a chocolate shake. I then got the fish sandwich, (limited time only for lent) W/ french fries, and a vanilla shake. I also edited a kids cheeseburger and an apple pie. The #1 Whataburger was good and tasty and the onion rings spectacular as always. I was curious about the fish and overall it was tasty with nice crunch. I will say however that it could have used a bit more tartar sauce to make it a great sandwich. The fries were pretty good but a little bit on the sorter side, (I like my fries more crispy or at least close). I tried the kids cheeseburger and it was cold and dry.

I peruse the menu, another customer drops their shake. Gonna be longer. That's fine, go help them. "No, I can take your order REALLY FAST." Well, I was looking at the menu, but cool to be rushed. I remember when the young lady that used to work there was at the counter. 6-8 people in line, greeted with a smile and Hi! Welcome in! There was a longer wait, but it was ok, because the service was good, and so was the food. Today? I'll never return. I spent over $15.00 including a credit card surcharge (a business owner that wants to take credit cards but can't be bothered to be a business owner and pay their bills.) I left a $5 cash tip - I figured I'd the business owner can't pay the 3% on a bad merchant account, they most likely aren't paying the staff livable wages... I sat down and put my gear down, and waited... for about 15 minutes, before this garbage salad that was falsely advertised as having toppings and 3 sliced chick'n strips. The entire salad didn't fill the bowl.? On the bottom were less than a teaspoon of diced tomatoes. In the entire salad there was ONE "fried onion." The lettuce was chopped like slop, there was barely enough chick'n to call it 1.5 slices. Absolute trash. For 15$ I ate my salad, listening as Morticia Addams' understudy pleasantly said good bye, have a nice day, et cetera to the customers who were leaving. I got up, threw my trash, walked out. Silence: The whole time I was in there, a cheap speaker was streaming some crappy 90s "radio friendly hip hop." When my salad was brought to me, even after explaining it's very hard to eat, or carry , a salad on a motorcycle, it arrived in a to-go/carry out, lid is RIGHT THERE,.Morticia helpfully pointed it out, a subtle hint that I wasn't a welcome guest. As I was gearing up to get on my motorcycle out comes our antagonist. Not to be polite or anything. To smoke or vape. I didn't stick around to smell which one she was doing in the doorway. I get it, lucky goose doesn't want my money. They've made it abundantly clear. That's fine. I'll go to Steelbender, where they have vegan options, and like that customers come on to give them money. I accidentally posted this review to the uptown location. I've never been, and will never be, to that location. This review was the knob hill location.
