We finally got to the window at 6:15 to pay and then waited 5 more minutes to get our food - a wait time of 35 min for 4 hot dogs, pop and jalapeño poppers. The poppers used to be so good, NOW you get nothing but a fried outer shell with 3 pieces of chopped up jalapeño and barely any cheese. This is an absolute waste of money!! The AI used to take orders in the drive through is absolutely terrible, never going back. It will cut you off and ask questions mid sentence. I was in the middle of an order and it gave me my total when I wasn't done. Sometimes it takes your order and doesn't relay it to the kitchen. This is the 2nd time I just left mid order out of frustration. I like the food but I'm never going back until they remove this or have an employee monitor it so they can jump in. read more

Maybe don't eat here. Or at least check that your food reached safe cooking temps. Not fully cooked chili cheese fries may have been the culprit to make me sick. I called to mention my order was undercooked and I became ill. I said I don't want to issue a formal complaint but they should know this occurred. No apology offered. Nothing. I said it would be a good idea to talk to the team about cook temps and she said she would and hung up. I was craving a corn dog, so I drove over here and ordered their #3 which is two corn dogs, small fries and a small drink. I upsized the fries and the drink and the total was about $9. I've driven by this place frequently for 20 years, but never stopped. It looks cute from the outside, but I figured they did not have any veg friendly items besides fries and drinks. It does often look busy though, with a drive thru and a couple tables to sit at outside and a small area to go in and order. I've heard good things about their chili cheese fries and milkshakes. Their hours are later than most. Recently they added veggie dogs and now it is a new favorite. I've only been twice so far, but I tried all 3 of the veggie dogs and have been telling everyone about it. The field roast dogs they use had me checking my food to make sure they gave me the veggie one so I really appreciated that they marked it with a green sticker so I can feel a little more confident. My favorite is the Chicago veggie dog, it even comes with sport peppers which may not be for everyone, but are super cute. I appreciate that they have been willing to make modifications for me as needed. I'm hoping to learn on my next visit if they will let me sub the veggie dog on some other options to make even more delicious food. I definitely want something with kraut. The polish sandwich also looks interesting. It can be a little difficult to eat on the go, but I do like the container they pack it in which helps eliminate mess and its the perfect food to take to a park. So was sitting minding my own business on a fall Saturday morning watching football while my wife was out running errands and when she returned surprise I get two chili dogs form you know who, I love my wife she gets me, anyway mainly she has been getting chili dogs from here for years and when I've been good I get some too must have been a good boy. So enough bs these chili dogs come on a steamed bun the chili is without beans so it's chili real deal not too spicy savory with a nice amount of ground beef, the dog is kinda on the smallish size but oh well it's cooked well and the whole thing eats well. So I'm sitting here on the couch wanting more so I check out their menu and guess what they have a bunch of options I didn't know about burgers also if you're into vegetarian options they got them also fries and shakes. So I'm gonna be checking out the menu oh they have their chili in a can so you can create your own chili dog at home. First time at The W for me. Strangely I was expecting German food given the name, but I wasnt too disappointed when i found out what it actually was: hotdogs. This place is definitely fast food. Drive through and about 4 chairs total if you try to sit in. Restrooms are around the back outside like a gas station. I dare not use. The Chicago dog was a mountain of relish and a pickle on top of that. They have the sport pepper too but it only added to the pickle flavor of the rest of the dog and when i bit into it it sprayed pickle juice across the whole table haha. The Hawaiian dog was much more satisfying with bacon bits and also served in a box. The chili cheese fries tasted as youd expect. Overall the food was still satisfying and comforting. read more

The hotdogs are your standard size small hotdogs but they are still good. I had a hamburger, a dog and a large fry to share. The dog was good with all the tangy and fresh toppings on the Chicago dog which is how I liked it. There are a couple others like the Cabo dog and some other one.. also features chili dog and corn dog.. Compared to Dick's, their fries come in a large soda cup and though it's not the softer freshly pressed kind,we really liked this hot crispy skinny fries. It was very addicting. The hubby's chocolate milkshake didn't disappoint. Very good he said like Dick's. My pineapple lemonade was sweet and tangy and it had bits of pineapple chunks.. We recently bought an order of 1 chilidog and a couple other classics. Upon reaching our destination we found that the   Weiner was missing from the chili dog! Was too far and late to go back in heavy traffic. Upon return today I mentioned the incident and asked for a $ reduction on this order. I was told by the employee.. that's unfortunate and no we can't do anything about that. So we left without taking this med sized order. This Wienerschnitzel has been here my whole life and I've eaten here many times. It's consistently delicious. I can genuinely say that every single item I've ever had was fresh and hot. I feel pretty lucky to have this so close by - I only realized recently that the only other location in Washington is in Fife! The staff that works here are always very friendly and do what they can to keep the drive thru line moving as quickly as possible (it can get backed up to the main road). The fruit loop dipped cones are big hit in our family and everything is priced at a fair amount. This place is not big but it is super clean and tidy - and all smiles behind the counter. Two Chicago dogs for about $5 is priced right and they were close enough to authenticate for me today. Missing the poppy seed bun and used sweet relish instead of the neon relish - but the rest was spot on and went down easy. We have eaten at Wienerschnitzel at least 100 times over the years at this location, here in Everett. Today's visit was definitely an eye-opener as it involved discrimination at the point of sale. After ordering five Coney dogs and the chili cheese fries at the drive-through window, Kayla D, the on duty Wienerschnitzel employee took it upon herself to Project her racist beliefs of the company. While I find weinerschnitzel's menu items to be tasty for the most part, I can't ignore the discriminatory practices in place by this business and its current management. Black customers are routinely asked to produce id when paying with credit card. Please note that both visa and MasterCard prohibit merchants from asking for cardholder id for a card present transaction and signed on the back . Again, this card was signed on the back, as required by visa. Although this type of Blatant discriminatory activity doesn't occur as often as it did years ago, it's continued existence amplifies the need for continued monitoring, training and investigation of this discriminatory practice. Here is an excerpt from the Visa card manual for merchants: When should you ask a cardholder for an official government ID? "Merchants cannot make an ID a condition of acceptance . Therefore, merchants cannot as part of their regular card acceptance procedures refuse to complete a purchase transaction because a cardholder refuses to provide ID . It is important that merchants understand that the requesting of a cardholder ID does not change the merchant's liability for chargebacks . However, it can slow down a sale and annoy the customer . It's completely worth the trip up to Everett for two chili cheese dogs and a relish/onion dog.
