A nice plate paired with the tasting.

The cellar room was excellent. The tasting was yummy which is why I spent too much money on some wine. The Malbec is jammy and well worth the price of admission. Lots of families enjoying the lawn, and the live music. The service was great!! Above and beyond!!

Thank you, ( Liz)... You are such a delight to chat with, and you were completely on point with our pours for the evening We were so happy that the Pinot Noirs were back in stock and ready for us to pick up. We always enjoy making this our number one stop in Temecula.

Weins Cellars members pickup party! Popped in for a little wine, with food pairings and to retrieve our quarterly wine purchase. Today's performance was provided by a gentleman playing Sixties and Seventies jazz favorites on saxophone and reminiscing the Rat Pack era. Totally refreshing! Delicious wine, cool weather and smooth tunes.

The set up in the private area was amazing.

This place never lets us down. Great wine, great service, and a great atmosphere. They upgraded our group of 14 to the private area and took care of us for more than 3 hours of tastings.

Enjoyed a wine tasting yesterday during NYE. Arrived about 4:30 PM and stayed til closing. It was only $32 for two people to do 6 glasses of wine tasting which is a steal! Scott was our waiter and he was really personalable and knowledgeable. Loved seeing the details of the wines flavors which helped us choose what to taste. They also had little snacks to buy which was great while getting tipsy.

LOVEEE Wiens!! I try to visit at least once a week-- whenever friends or family are in town, it's the first place I take them. The atmosphere is always welcoming, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, food trucks and live music on weekends, AND they're pet friendly! (: Also, BIG shoutout to Michael! He's incredibly knowledgeable (I thought he was a sommelier!!), friendly, always provides quick service and actually listens to what you like and don't like. When I first moved to Temecula, I only ordered Cabernet lol, but Michael helped me branch out and discover other wines I now enjoy. My current favorite is the Cote Noir (a blend of Malbec and Petite Sirah). It's sooo good! If you live locally, I'd recommend signing up as club members. I signed up for the Reds club, which offers up to 8 tastings A DAY which is an insane deal compared to other wineries! Only downside is that it obviously gets super busy on weekends, and the cashiers' friendliness can be a hit or miss. Thank you, Michael and staff, for taking great care of your customers! (:

Huge winery in Temecula with an amazing tasting room for members. They had two times for tastings and some delicious wines room had AC and service was fantastic. Fun place to check out when in the Temecula wine country area.

Wiens is a solid pick in Temecula if you enjoy bold red wines, a relaxed wine tasting vibe, and want more than just standard pours. With the right server and expectations kept in check, it can be one of the more rewarding stops in the area. What makes this winery different from the others, you are able to bring in your curated charcuterie board, lunch, snacks, and other food while servers come to your table for wine tasting. No need to get up each time to try different wines. Family friendly winery with grass area for kids to run around. Perfect for a stop if you are in the area.

Wiens Cellars - Temecula's Gem for Wine Lovers Wiens Cellars is hands-down one of my favorite spots to unwind in Temecula wine country! This family-owned winery delivers everything you want in a weekend escape--gorgeous vineyards, relaxed vibes, and seriously impressive wines. The atmosphere is always inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating that lets you soak up the California sun. On some days, you'll catch live music or a local food truck, but the best part? You can bring your own picnic! I usually pack a basket of snacks to pair with their bold reds and crisp whites--it's the perfect setup for an easy afternoon with friends. The staff is friendly, the pours are generous, and the energy feels like a mix of rustic charm and laid-back luxury. On our last visit, we even got treated to a full rainbow stretching across the vineyards--talk about a perfect ending! If you're local to Southern California, do yourself a favor and join their Wine Club. I'm part of the Reds Club, which includes up to 8 tastings a day--an unbelievable deal compared to other wineries in the area. Whether you're a Temecula regular or just exploring for the day, Wiens Cellars is the kind of place that turns a casual visit into a full-on experience. Cheers to that!

I absolutely love the wine at this winery is very good. I also like the fact that they have different food trucks coming in all the time the food I've eaten here has been amazing. They have a beautiful outdoor patio. They also have a barrel room. It was very unique fun experience.

    Our server, Silvana!

My husband and I have been members at Wiens for many years. We visited yesterday to pick up our wine and to do a tasting. Our server was Silvana, and she was fantastic! We have been members at many different wineries through the years in Temecula, Buellton, Napa, and Paso Robles. Wiens is, by far, our favorite winery! We love reds, and all of their wines are incredible. We stopped at Wiens years ago when we saw their sign that said "big bold reds." They aren't kidding. Their reds are the best! We have attended many fun events throughout the years, such as a Crowded pairing dinner, blend your own wine, pick up parties, and others. They are always well organized. They don't have a restaurant on site, but they have food trucks on the weekends. You can take your own snacks as well. I highly recommend visiting Wiens when you are in Temecula. Make sure you ask for Silvana, and tell her Laurie and Larry sent you!

The Summer Concert Series is a great way to spend your weekend so check it out if you can! I LOVE coming here even on a random weekday, but my favorite times are when they have great live music. This review is because we attended the kick off of the summer concert series! We had a large group and Michael, once again was an absolute joy!! The setup for these concerts was so cool! Tables on the lawn with umbrellas, open grass area near the stage, vendors setup around the perimeter, and live music before the concert even started! They thought of everything. They only had one food truck so options were limited, but I think they were expecting two more. I can't tell you how many times I've visited since a year ago when I joined the wine club! Every visit has been worth the drive. Michael Hall is usually my wine expert, but the few times he wasn't there we had someone nice too. He is always super knowledgeable about all wines, very personable with everyone around see him assisting, super patient with questions, and so much fun to chat with between pours.

As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. I decided to do a wine tasting for my birthday with 2 other guests and drove from LA to Temecula on a Sunday. Arriving to the estate was easy, there's plenty of free parking spots surrounding the winery. It's quite an uphill stroll and some stairs are involved, but you definitely get a workout in. They have a covered patio area of tables that are either reserved or you put your name down to get a table on the left side of the winery, the middle/terrace area is usually used for private parties/events such as a bridal shower or birthday party, where there are 2 outside bars and sometimes they offer live music, the back area of the estate has a grassy area with small vendors selling jewelry and such with picnic style tables (no shade or cover), a gazebo of seating facing in my opinion, the best part of the view, and a separate location for wine club members. The inside is where you do the actual wine tasting experience, and has high bar stool tables and chairs for seating as well. Stepping up to the hostess desk, a man who worked there greeted us and very quickly told us what they offer and then walked away (had nothing to do with the check in desk area, so it was a little confusing). The hostesses had the same spiel to give, and I had mentioned it was our first time and we had absolutely no idea how to even begin a wine tasting experience. The explanations were rushed and basically told us to figure it out. We walked away towards the inside/outside terrace of the winery and were stuck walking around for 5 minutes not knowing where to go. We stopped by one of the outside bars and asked for help, the bartender told us we could start our wine tasting experience inside. Now was that so hard to help us navigate where we're supposed to go and what we're supposed to do? Not everything should be explained on a script, most of the time hospitality and customer service goes a longer distance than formalities. We finally get inside and the women working the front for the tastings were really impersonal and standoffish. We finally start getting a tasting experience going, asked for recommendations and none were received or explained so we just picked random options and had them pour. Throughout the 6 tastings we had, each pour was a different amount, if the bottle they were using was running low, they would pour the last bits of it (barely 2 sips), and hand it over, vs a bottle that was more than full, would get a nice even tasting pour. We eventually wanted to order food, and before we even started the tasting, we asked for a table and the hostess told us it would be over an hour wait. We put our names down, they called us in the middle of our 2/6 tasting, which was less than 20 min. So we went to our table and kept having to go back inside one by one to taste our different wines, as we were at a table now and not just doing the tasting experience inside. Food was great, service at the table was also great. Afterwards we left our table and walked towards the gazebo area and sat down by the view. The most enjoyable part of our day just taking in the atmosphere. On our way out, we wanted to experience a different viewpoint which was the bar area with the stools next to the tables of the "reserved/name down" area. I very nicely asked the hostess if we could sit in the empty seats for just a second to finish our last tasting and take in the view, she told us no those are reserved areas and not just open for anyone to sit at as they please. "Sorryyyy those are reserved spaces" with a smile that was clearly not genuine. We understood, dropped our wine glasses off at the bar, and proceeded to our next destination. All in all, the service here was not great. The entire experience felt absolutely rushed, it was not focused on the wine tasting experience at all, they are more focused on selling tables and getting you to order food. There was no explanations on a quick backstory of the wines we were interested in trying, it was just like "which one do you want" "*point*" poured it, and just told us to enjoy. I didn't enjoy my time here at all, and I won't be back to visit, as there are many many other lowkey wineries that are not as highly reviewed or popular as this one, and they are a much better experience.
