Do NOT Trust Wiesner Buick or Their Warranties I bought a brand-new 2024 Buick Envista from Wiesner Buick in Conroe, TX and paid extra for a windshield warranty. While they are extremely nice and attentive when you're buying the car, everything changes once the sale is done. When my windshield was damaged, Wiesner outsourced the replacement to a third party, and the work was done incorrectly. The windshield seal was poorly installed. When I contacted Ariel at Wiesner, I was told it was not their problem and that I needed to deal with the installer, even though I paid Wiesner for the warranty. Just like a car loses value the moment you drive it off the lot, customers seem to lose their value the moment the purchase is complete. I lost time, money, and had to take time off work to correct their mistake. I do not trust Wiesner Buick and will never do business with them again. I strongly warn others before buying a vehicle or any warranty from this dealership. read more

Everyone I have encountered in the service department has been amazing. They are tentative, curtious, and do all that they can to get the issue addressed timely. Also the lube department gets you in and out quicker than any other dealer I have ever had experience with and run your vehicle through the wash. read more

First off...the friendly, hard working and honest staff is the only reason they get the 1 star. If it wasn't for them 0 stars would be a just review. I've got a GMC Sierra that's 3 yrs old and under warranty. It had an oil leak, not from the filter or plug but from the engine bay. It was clearly a warranty issue. I scheduled an appointment in December. Upon arrival, I was told they wouldn't be able to diagnose the truck for 3 days, and in turn, I'd be on the hook for the cost of the "warranty covered" rental car until diagnosis. I rescheduled the appointment for January. Upon drop off I was told again 3 days to diagnose. I was out of time so I left it and picked up a rental. Fast forward, I've got a six day rental cost, approximately $400, and they fixed an issue that required 3 hours of labor. I'll likely only be reimbursed for 1 day. Longer story short, take your Buick/GMC to a dealer that an appointment means technicians are available (literally everywhere else), not that you have the privilege to wait in a vague line. read more

I'm going to be completely honest with this review. I have been to multiple GMC dealerships in the last years that I've been in Texas. I have went to other GMC dealerships for services in the Houston area and this time decided to try Conroe because they happen to be on this side of town. Best experience I have ever had. I did not feel bombarded by needing additional services. Their lobby is super nice and cozy for me to actually get some work done and wait. Every one of the staff that I connected with was super nice and took great care of me. I was honestly shocked by how quick the turnaround was for my oil change . I honestly wish that I got everybody's name so I can name drop them because I was greeted by a gentleman that was really nice. Super disappointed with the service at the GMC service department. Just a few weeks ago I was told they offer loaners for diagnostics (I work in downtown so this is a must) then I call yesterday because something is going on with my car and they want to keep it for 3 days and offer no loaner car. Well, a great improvement would be when Weisner knows there is a mechanical issue / defect with a used car they're are selling, they could disclose it to the customer, which would save a potential customer time, money and effort. Like in the case of a Durango with radiator fluid residue all under the vehicle and a current crack leaking, which is visible when it is up on a lift. Very dissapointed in this interaction. And the Durango is still listed for sale. Hoping they fixed it. :-/ guessing maybe not since the price dropped a little online but not enough to cover that repair. Old school scammy car lot. Their "no surprises" slogan is a campaign of nonsense. Without explaining my lengthy experience, I thought I'd list a few tips from what I've learned. I gave 3 stars because I never visited the location and did not purchase a vehicle. 1. You can get financing from banks like Capital One WITHOUT hurting your credit score. It does not take hours for financing terms. Capital One usually offers lower rates than dealerships, even on new cars (with the exception of 0% rates on a new car). At least get pre-approved before you head out, so you have something to compare their rate to. 2. Do NOT waste time visiting until you negotiate terms. They simply want to get you in and wear you down. I sent 27 emails about a vehicle and was told the vehicle was there. I better hurry in, right? I'm glad I was firm in negotiating online. The car was in need of repairs, had 100,000 miles more than advertised, and wasn't even available for purchase. 3. Pricing is a scam. This dealership expects you pay for their own advertising costs and this will inflate pricing. They wouldn't even tell me this cost! According to other buyers, it can be several THOUSAND DOLLARS in added fees. Could you imagine other businesses demanding this? Hey, Weisner, if you were a reputable business, your customers would simply return. Also, I found the car online. As a Realtor, I can't imagine scamming my customers with a $2,000 advertising expense at closing. 4. Reputable dealerships offer EVERYTHING online. We purchased our last 3 cars without stepping foot on the dealership lot. Most will deliver the car to you. If they can't offer that, there's a reason for it. Crooked Shop, Click Drive Scam I did Shop Click Drive with GMC for an upgraded truck at Weisner Buick GMC, and one of their tag lines is "no surprises". That should say "no surprises unless the local dealer feels like you are getting a deal". In summary, the dealer "felt like the online offer was too good based on what I paid originally" and offered me $10,425 less than the SCD value. That offer was also $9000 less than another all cash offer at another dealer. Now my credit was already ran and finance applications filed out, but this "surprise" is eye opening. Everyone knows that you are going to get a little less than the KBB, but 20% less is astonishing. Beware shop, click, drive users; its a scam. This has to be borderline false advertising. So they were going to sell it to me at the asking price and then added the extra $2,000+. When I asked what it was, they told me that it was Lojack and something else. I purchased a used Buick Enclave from them. The Carfax showed one incident of "damage," and there was a dent in the front bumper/hood that they told me they were having repaired when I viewed the vehicle. I asked if that was what the "damage" incident was referring to, and was told yes. I also asked if there was any previous body work on the vehicle, and I was told no. Six months after having the car, one of the back doors began to drag on the running board and not close properly. It always appeared to be partially open and the latch was close to coming off. I took it to a shop, and I was informed that the car had extensive previous body work on the driver's side, and the previous body work was poorly done. It was immediately obvious to the shop that the work had been done (literally the second they opened the door they were able to spot tell-tale signs). I was told I needed a new door and several periphery hinges/parts. Once it was all said and done, I was looking at somewhere between $3000 and $5000 dollars. I took it to another shop for a second opinion, and was told the same thing (immediately knew it had previous body work). At that point, I was LIVID. I felt lied to and taken advantage of by the Wiesner salesman. I called the dealership prepared to go "full Karen." Much to my surprise, I only had to go "pre-Karen" before the Sales Director stepped in and offered to help. He told me that, while they did NOT know about the previous body work and it definitely wasn't completed by them, I should bring it to them and they'd get the Collision Center to assess it. Even told me they'd loan me a vehicle to use in the interim. I took it by that evening and picked up the loaner. Collision Center agreed it needed a new door, and they were able to complete the repairs for me free-of-charge. Even though it technically wasn't something they had to do, they were willing to do what they could to make it right. I think they realized they should have caught the previous body work...but everyone makes mistakes, and they were willing to go above and beyond to make up for it. I am very pleased with the continued customer service, and I'll recommend the dealership to everyone. read more

Wiesner Buick in Conroe. Extremely Bad Service Dept. Took my vehicle to Wiesner for four recommended fluid changes. When I paid cash for the bill the cashier said I might be paying her with counterfeit bills. I explained that I had just taken the cash out of the ATM. I drove home with my car noticeably pulling to the right. It was fine before I took it to this dealership. Following the fluid changes my engine light came on and I received a message that the engine would not function at full power. Back to the dealership for $1,100 in repairs. They also charged me for an alignment. Got the car back. Car is still pulling to the right. They refuse to take my phone calls and hang up as soon as I call. Key fob had a huge hole in it which they caused. Al Gomez blamed me for what they did. They put the heavy metal part in my leather passenger seat causing dents in the leather. They refuse to do anything about it. I also got someone's long black hair in the back seat. When I brought my car for an oil change, I originally used conventional oil. Without telling me they decided to switch me to synthetic oil which increased the price significantly. I bought this car new and the lights were awesome. After taking it to this dealer it was getting harder to see at night. I asked for the bulbs to be replaced. When I got the car back Luis said that they had adjusted the lights higher and if too high bring it back. At night the lights would light up rooftops. No light on the road. I had to drive with my fog lights. Took the car back and mentioned the lights were too high. They said they were fine. Brought it back again and again they said they were fine, never taking it back to the service department. Brought it back a third time and said I would put a car camera on the windshield to prove there was no light on the road. I was scared to drive at night. Then the car was taken back to service and I was told the lights were way too high. They put me in danger as I was driving at night. They did not give me a paid receipt twice when I paid cash. They had to mail one and I went back into the dealership to the manager to get the second one. When they damaged my leather seat they told me to write the damage on the key fob bill which I did. Then Maria tore the top half of the bill off and asked me to sign it. When I started to write the damage to the leather seat on the dealership copy she grabbed the paper forcefully causing the pen to put a large hole in the paper. These people are mean. They also scratched my entire car and spent two days trying to get the scratches out but never did. I had asked for a hand wash and a hand wax and they had run it through a machine which apparently malfunctioned. They should have repainted the car. Every time I bring my car in for service and have to leave it overnight the air conditioner setting is changed to the lowest possible. Good luck to you if you choose Wiesner Buick in Conroe. Take photos of your key fob on the counter if you give it to their service department. If they damage it they will blame it on you. Take photo's of the inside and outside of your vehicle. Take photo's of the dash information. If you need a part their policy is to not give you the part number so you can't shop around. On the phone they said I had a two year warranty. When I paid the bill they said the warranty only applied to the part. The labor was $300. They have been very rude to me. Especially Maria and Al Gomez. First, I cannot believe I am having to give this low of a rating to a company that I spent a LOT of money buying their vehicles over the last 20 plus years. Bought over 20 in that time period. Mostly the Yukon Denali. Dealt with Steve Reich over the last 10 plus years and always felt I got a decent deal. My latest vehicle, first time ever buying a Nissan, was purchased because Wiesner, and other GMC dealerships, started selling their vehicles for as much as $10,000 over MSRP because of a chip shortage. When I came to Steve to cancel the extended warranty on the 2019 Denali I had traded in he had a finance person fill out the forms. Well, they never sent the form in. When I tried to get in touch with both the finance person and Steve Reich to get it fixed, they never returned my call. I will NOT be buying another vehicle from them again. Needed an oil change on my GMC truck. I arrived at the service dept on 5/17/23, 4:15. I stood there in front of two service advisors. The female was on the phone and never acknowledged my presence. The gentleman was doing some paperwork and also never acknowledged my presence. So I asked him if I can get an oil change. He gave me a very rude yes and looked like I was annoying him. Then he walked away and never returned. Finally after 15 minutes another female advisor, Kaitlynn, walked up and asked me have I been helped. She was very pleasant, but informed me that they were booked up and could accommodate me today. So I had to try to make it to another dealership. The internet sales manager Jason McKeever was beyond excellent and made car buying damn near fun.... They quickly appraised my Lexus for trade in, gave me a decent price, got me the best financing and then all I had to do was pick out the color of Sonata that I wanted and they ordered it for me, done... They also gave me a regular Sonata to drive for free until mine arrives from the factory next week... Jason was friendly and informative and has made me a Wiesner costumer for life!!!! I bought a vehicle at Wiesner Buick GMC. Wiesner is the Buick dealership nearest my residence. That was the only reason I had for going there - the convenient location. It is an insufficient reason to ever go there again. Their service department should be renamed. Whatever new name they choose for that department, it should not include the word "service." If you call and ask for service, you will be transferred around from phone to phone. If you show a lot of patience you will eventually be rewarded with the opportunity to leave a message which will then be ignored. I am VERY pleased with everything all the way through to the end with Amy in Finance. I received and excellent value for my trade and didn't have to haggle.
